This is one of those rare hidden gems at a very low price with high quality and everything either new or refurbished completely. It even has a fitness center with three treadmills and a bit more. I paid $66 per night including tax. A cheap Aldi supermarket is 10 minutes away. There are about half a dozen Motel 6 and Studio 6 every square mile of Dallas/Fort Worth, so be sure you find the right one on 10326 Finnell St. The room was clean and well equipped, although you'll need to bring a few things like dishwashing liquid. The freezer was fairly large and very cold. The bed was just the way I like it: firm but a little soft. My two small complaints were that the hot water wasn't always hot and the lamps by the bed were four or five feet in the air, so it was hard to turn them on or off without getting out of bed. This place is far off most long-haul interstates like i,-20. But if you're staying in the area for a while, it's worth the hassle to get here.

Allows pets. Not bad but within 20 minutes, I killed two cockroaches. Different species. Not willing to stay with pests around. The night staff friendly. Hardwood floors, fridge, microwave, stove top, dishes.

TA took down my first review of this place because it was a bit too specific about the wares that you can find in the vicinity of this hotel. TLDR it is a refuge of tranquility amidst the ratchetness of Harry Hines. Great place to enjoy the local scenes, and also a great place to escape once you're done sucking the life out of this wretched city known as Dallas. It's also within walking distance of a really laughable office park and a restaurant called Humperdink's so that's an A in my book. Good weekly rates. The guy at the front desk really doesn't care what you do as long as you don't damage the room or threaten the rent-a-cop that hangs out there sometimes to pretend he is enforcing the law.
