Homewood Suites by Hilton Dallas Downtown TX

Lovely clean room with pretty city view. The light switches were tricky, requiring a very light touch. The beautiful sliding glass shower door ran off its track but a strong arm reseated it well enough. The bed was comfy, the room was quiet and well insulated. The kitchen was so handy & well appointed, with lovely coffee and tea. The staff were so cheerful and friendly, too. Public transportation was conveniently close.

Uninhabitable. AC turns on and off every 5 minutes. I am writing this at 2am after cancelling my next night. There is no sleeping here. The AC is incredibly loud which is fine if it stayed on but since it turns on and off constantly there is no possivle way of getting to sleep

Items were stolen from my hotel room and the front desk was absolutely no help. My daughter and I received 3 room keys, but the front desk says 4 keys were issued. Furthermore, their system shows one of the keys was used when neither my daughter nor I were at the hotel. Management has been dismissive of the theft and I am appalled. Frankly, I think that the theft was an inside job. I do not recommend you stay at this hotel unless you want your items stolen.

Upon coming to check in, at the desk i asked the agent if there were any upgrades available, the agent replied that there were none bcs they were sold out but however the next day there will be availability, As a gold member i get a free upgrade based on availability, when i was talking to the agent today, ( jasmin) she said " upgrade is available, and we do not offer complimentary ones" and asked me to pay. This is not the first time this has happened, Do not book this hotel You'll be better with hyatt or a Marriott
