Candlewood Suites Market Center an IHG Hotel

Came because I read a review they did no deposit. That’s false not only is it a deposit but it has to be on a card. The reason I booked is I lost my cards. Get to the property and refused service. Wouldn’t even take cash for the deposit. Needless to say me my wife and 8 month old slept in the car that night.

IHG should be embarrassed to brand this property - I ended up leaving after trying two different rooms - they both reeked of cigarette smoke and the cooling units weren’t fully functional, which is an absolute deal breaker when the temp is 100+

The room, linens, towels, etc. were clean. The room had a small refrigerator and more importantly it had a coffee pot for early morning coffee. I stayed here to have a test done at UTSW Medical. The location is very convenient. I just made another reservation for another stay as I have a return visit to UTSW medical.

I picked this hotel because it was close to Love Field and they allow people to leave their vehicle in the parking lot for $14 for the week. The employees were friendly, the room was clean, and there was security on site in the parking lot. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable, but it was only for one night for a fee hours. I asked where was a good place to park our truck and she said in the front since there are lights and security. I was able to park in a corner spot and backed the truck all the way up into the bush. I made sure the truck bed and cover was lock before we left. We did have big plain box in the bed of the truck, UT might have said Thomas the Train on it. It was a present for our grandson from his great grandmother. We were going to go see them when we got back from Mexico. When we got back a week later, someone had pried open the cover of truck bed and took the box. We have stayed at other hotels around Love Field and DFW with no issues. It is unfortunate that this happened, it could have been worse, no real damage was done to the truck.

Stayed one night with daughter and her friend. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful! Allowed us to check-in early so my daughter could take online class exam from our room - much appreciated! Room was spotless and spacious. Free parking and quick and easy access to Deep Ellum for concert at The Factory. Great price for a suite with a kitchen. We had a one queen bedroom with a sofa sleeper and double bed in the living space. Liked the fact that there were two ac units - one for the living area and one for the bedroom. Super climate control. Clean and comfortable room! Minor issue was having to pass through the bedroom to get to the bathroom and no door between the sink area and bedroom. This would not deter us from staying here again.
