Embassy Suites Corpus Christi

This hotel could give lessons to other Hilton brands. Reception area was immaculate with an indoor pool. Front desk Staff was very accommodating and friendly. They almost knew what you wanted before you asked. Room cleanliness could use a little more attention but not a deal breaker.

When I think of a Hilton Hotel I think of nice, clean, updated….this is NOT the case! Do not stay at the Embassy Suites by Hilton, Corpus Christi, S Padre Island Dr. We arrived and noticed that the room smelled like mold. We turned on the ac thinking this would take care of it…nope. We had to change rooms. The next room the carpet and couches were filthy. The carpet at the doorway was frayed and you could see the dirt. The couch had stains on it and the ottoman had seen its better days…I didn’t even touch the couch. The bathroom shower curtain was torn and a hole in the door. The wallpaper was curling at the edges and the clock on the nightstand looks like it has never need dusted. We would have changed hotels but there was nothing close by that looked any better. I am so very disappointed and will never go back to this hotel. This isn’t an issue with the front desk attendants as they were very nice, but with the owner. This hotel should not be included in the Hilton Hotel chain.

Embassy Suites in Corpus Christi: We got a king bedroom on the first floor. All pics online are very nice looking but honestly rooms are old, need some updates. But still clean overall. Mostly spacious for what is is but bathroom’s a bit small. Has a fair amount of amenities and the location is pretty ideal, close to everything. Front desk was nice, check in/out and communication was a breeze with their app.

The staff here made my stay really nice. Jake at the front desk was excellent, very professional and friendly. The woman bartender at Impressions was also so nice and helpful as were the chef and server at the restaurant. The excellent staff, the good location, the pretty good breakfast and guest reception, and the overall design of the hotel allow me to give them a very good recommendation. Everything in my room was in good working order and the room was comfortable. I will note that the hotel is aging. I don't think it has been updated in many years. One elevator was not working and everything just seemed old. But, it was still a good experience.

VERY friendly staff, great breakfast with made to order omelets and real pancakes (not some frozen stuff warmed up). Food was also good, I was surprised to see that they had a kitchen, so instead of going out I ordered in and it was very good at a reasonable price.
