Tru by Hilton Coppell DFW Airport North

Two thumbs up! I am beyond grateful for the kindness & flexibility of the staff (especially Victoria) at Tru by Hilton. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was as comfortable and suitable as possible. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was great!

I booked this hotel through the Hilton mobile app, specifically because it advertised shuttle service to and from DFW Airport. However, upon arrival, I discovered that this claim was misleading. I landed late on a Friday night (around 11:30 PM) and called the hotel for a shuttle pickup, only to be told that their shuttle service had stopped at 9 PM. I had no choice but to take a Lyft, which cost $34.90 before tip. The next morning, I planned to take the shuttle back to the airport to pick up my rental car—only to be informed that this so-called “DFW Airport” hotel does not offer any shuttle service on weekends. When I raised the issue with the front desk, I was essentially told it was my fault for not calling the hotel before booking, despite the Hilton app clearly advertising shuttle availability. I understand limited shuttle hours for late arrivals, but advertising airport transportation and then failing to provide it—especially on weekends—is completely unacceptable. If you need reliable shuttle service, stay at a real airport hotel.

Highly recommend! Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Hotel, lobby, and rooms were clean and had all we needed. Brought a big group and had 16 rooms reserved for two nights, they had all keys ready for us when we got there and our names were on the TV! Breakfast choices were amazing and very tasty!

My wife and I travel to Dallas often but this is the first time staying in a Tru by Hilton. This particular hotel is just over a year old so it’s still very clean and modern. What impressed me most was the staff. We were greeted by Moriah when we’re first walked in. She was intentional and very friendly. In fact, everyone was very friendly and hospitable. It’s in a great location and the price was very fair. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was constantly replenished and good as well. Parking was spacious and seemed safe. I will absolutely stay here again.

BEST STAY! After a horrific experience at a nearby Homewood Suites in Grapevine, this Tru hotel was incredible. The staff was friendly, kind, and overly fantastic. The Tru was clean, new, and clean! The staff even reached out to us after we got to our room and showered to make sure everything was good since they knew we had a bad experience at the Homewood Suites. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL! They even had a pumpkin and hay feature out front to celebrate fall!
