Hyatt Place College Station

We stayed at the Hyatt Place with our 2 small pugs. I liked that the hotel is pet-friendly and we even got a treat bag and doggie bags for our stay. There are a few areas for them to walk around and go potty and one behind the hotel that offers doggie bags. You also have to pay a pet deposit for the room, just in case of accidents. The hotel is really clean, lobby, rooms and the pool that I used. I was pleasantly surprised that the pool was nice and quiet. The room that we booked had a king bed with a queen size pull out couch on the living room. There was a mini fridge and microwave, a desk to work and the shower was quite spacious. The room was clean and didn't have any doggie smell when we arrived. The thing that look a bit older was the bathroom floor and shower, there were some tiles popping up, a bit of water damage on the shower and the tiles need new caulk. But other than that cosmetic, no issues. The bed was comfortable. The bad thing for us we had a room that overlooked the University Dr and it was noisy all day and all night. It was hard to sleep, since we didn't have ear plugs. Maybe the rooms on the back are quieter. Breakfast was good, they offered coffee, juice, milk, eggs, potatoes, bacon, cereal, oatmeal, bread, bagels, yogurt and fruit, so there is variety.

Any time we visit our son at A&M, we stay here. We love it. All of the staff is great especially Jennifer. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable! The rooms and hotel in general has always been very clean. It is our go to when we in town. A++++

The staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel was clean, and the room was stocked with enough towels. The water temperature could get hotter than I wanted, which is rare in most hotels I've been too; very nice to get a hot shower with strong water pressure. The breakfast had a reasonable selection of good quality items.

This hotel checked all the boxes. Excellent location, VERY comfortable rooms, phenomenal staff and great rates! You can't go wrong with this property. While I didn't get anything but coffee in the morning, the free breakfast options looked good and were well stocked. Surrounded by numerous good restaurants, and very close to campus!

Hyatt Place in College Station is reasonably priced, exceptionally clean, and offers comfortable beds in well-designed rooms. We were impressed with the friendly, efficient front desk associate, who also served as an excellent bartender. Although breakfast was sufficient, waffles or pancakes would have enhanced the breakfast experience.
