I stayed here for 2 weeks doing a local contract job. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating to my schedule. The job was subject to end on any given day and they were very flexible with me. The room was normal and as you'd expect it at this price point. Location and access were very good. Very convenient to many restaurants. The hotel appears to be run by a family of other than U.S. origin. This is pertinent because they do not appear to understand the basic American breakfast. A hot waffle iron was available and working every day I was there. During the 2 weeks Orange Juice was available 2 times. No apple juice. The rest of the time there was milk or nothing. One day they served biscuits, which were adequate, but no gravy. There was a very nice rotating toaster which looked brand new, but it never functioned while I was there. It just sat there. They had some type of pre-made omelet which looked horrible (I didn't try it). Pre-made scrambled eggs were okay, but nothing with it. Sausage was served several times, but nothing with it. I.E. each day they'd serve 1 item in the warming tray, but nothing else. At no time was there any sign of bacon. I can only come up with 2 reasons. 1. They don't know what is usually expected/what they should be serving. If so, get some help. Poll the people that stay there. You most likely won't meet everyone's expectations, but there is ABSOLUTELY room for improvement. 2. They're doing it deliberately "on the cheap" which will eventually kill them (see the last full paragraph). Nothing will help that except a change in strategy. My point is that people have an expectation when they see Breakfast served and nothing is as damaging as an unmet expectation. Not serving breakfast would actually better than failure to meet people's expectations (which is the current situation). There is no elevator. This wasn't a problem for me, I just mention it so that you can know. There is 1 coin operated washer and 1 coin operated dryer for guest use. They nicely maintain quarters/change for its use. It was a bit of a lottery as to whether it was in use when I tried to use it. I write the following as an older "boomer" so take it as you may. This place (and other similar places for that matter) should or must maintain and enforce a very strict policy on the use of cell phones in public areas (breakfast room) where the user doesn't have ear buds or ear phones. WE DON'T WANT TO SEE OR HEAR WHAT YOU'RE PLAYING. Go to your room or outside. Get it away from me. ESPECIALLY IN THE MORNING. While I'm on media, how about some Fox News on the TV in the breakfast room. Not always Leftist slanted CNN or CNBC. For the money it isn't a bad place to stay, however experience tells me that in coming years, if things aren't done differently it'll become a "roach motel". It seems to be run at or near "on the cheap" and the effects of that while telling, aren't fully visible, but the signs are everywhere. I hope I'm wrong, they were nice to me and I appreciate it. I write this with no malice. On the contrary, I hope they read it, take it to heart and can come out better on the other side. All that said, I'm coming back to Burleson on a similar job and I'm staying somewhere else.

First let me say that we truly appreciate the Red Roof chain in that there is no pet fee. Well done! For this location: Pros: Friendly staff, very clean, affordable, standard hot breakfast items... Cons: Somewhat thin walls/ceilings, zero room decor (save for a poorly placed low quality photo), barely passable bed comfort, and... the most difficult: room lighting. No lamps whatsoever, only overhead recessed bright white lighting. If you're stopping for sleep only, aren't super sensitive about your mattress and are lucky enough to not have active neighbors.... this will do.
