Ultra clean facility. Excellent breakfast and a very friendly staff..easy access to highway, shopping and entertainment. Quick trip to South Padre Island. I highly recommend this property . It never disappoints. Management has really made a very professional and enjoyable stay experience.

I stayed three nights at this well-run, well-maintained hotel for work. I know the brand well as a lifetime Platinum Reward member. They were doing some maintenance during my stay, but nothing that will affect you. The elevator's walls were covered for protection and some plastic covered some of the carpeting. The staff was friendly and efficient. I normally don't eat the complimentary hotel breakfasts, but this place actually has good ones. Each morning was different. The first day they had excellent breakfast burritos, the second day was sausage, egg & cheese on a hard roll and the third day was a small buffet. with chorizo & eggs, in additional to -lain scrambled eggs along with French toast, potatoes and the usual stuff. It's too bad other properties don't take a page from their book. There aren't a lot of hotel choices in Brownsville and I would stay here again. I have one negative thing to mention and it has no reflection on the hotel. The hotel was busy that rate for the first night was $298. Is what it is. What blew me away the nine different taxes totaling $51.46 per night. I'm not sure what the parking tax is because it was free. That's more than $300 in taxes for two rooms for three nights. I piad for my colleagues's room so I get the point. Wow.

Overall, this hotel is average and adequate. I have stayed here several times before COVID, and it hasn't changed much at all. My room was a bit more smelly than expected, like it needed better cleaning/airing out. Also, the WIFI connection during this visit was sub-par, and failed exactly at the worst times during conference calls. I hope this hotel can improve. This hotel is overpriced for what you get.

Rooms were good. They are under construction in some of the rooms in seems so it wasnât as comfortable as Iâm sure it will be when finished. Rooms are good, bed and amenities. They left a thank you box with Hersheyâs kisses, which I thought was very nice. If your traveling this is a good place to rest. Also, if you have Bonvoy points this place is extremely reasonable.

Cindy was very kind to my crew & myself in Brownsville! came in really late from a flight & she provided me with toothpaste & a brush! She made sure I had everything I needed & was asking if it was anything else I needed. Very nice disposition for it to be so late in the evening
