I've been here for a week. If you enjoy hot water when taking a shower DO NOT come here because there is no hot water, its luke warm at best. I stay at the extended stays all across the US and this one is the worst for hot water. It smells like mold in the lobby and when you get off of the elevator, that's if the elevator is working. Don't get a room near the front entry because people are lottering out down there until midnight carrying on and you can hear them five rooms away and three flights up.

Bed bugs are here. Hotel is negligent. Tripadvisor told me not to be so mean so I had to rewrite my review and be nicer but I can think of anything nice to say about this place because they gave me bed bugs

This location appeared to be transitioning from another chain and did not provide the full list of advertised and expected amenities. The kitchen was not fully equipped. No pots, pans, silverware, or dishes were available. Only a few cooking utensils were provided. We obtained pots and dishes from a local grocery store. The stovetop was difficult to learn. An alert on the timer would have been useful. The fridge was discolored and wobbled. The bathroom fan switch only functioned if manually held and was essentially non-functional. The toilet paper was very thin and did not hold up to the humidity of the Texas summer nor the extra bathroom humidity without a working fan. The shower/tub walls did not provide any helpful shelves or caddies to hold shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc while bathing. The non-smoking room strongly smelled of bleach and/or smoke. The fan unit did not provide enough power to dissipate the smell during our multi-day visit. A request for extra towels was met with some resistance but eventually honored. The back stairwell was not air conditioned and strongly smelled of aged fast food. The back entrance could use a redesign for better accessibility.

A prime example of a company that pays for 5 star reviews. The 1 star reviews are the only real ones. Let me tell you, thereās no way anything about this property gets above 1 star. This is hands down the most disgusting, unkempt hotel Iāve ever stayed at. Iāve been in the hotel business for almost a decade and Iāve seen it all. I actually felt uncomfortable using or touching anything in the room. The carpet was sticky, furniture was damaged and falling apart, mold in the bathroom (probably because the fan inside has been broken for months), the smell⦠my god the smell. It hits you like a ton of bricks when you walk into the hotel, and even into your room. Humid, thick air full of the smell of mildew, old food (cooked in the rooms) and dirty carpet. Dehumidifiers sprinkled around the hallways, piles of garbage outside rooms. We had to move rooms because of the obvious āadultā stains on the ācleanā sheets housekeeping put on the bed for a new guest to arrive and sleep in. This place felt like a halfway house. I ran into 2 employees that were friendly and helpful, one of which didnāt even work here as her primary property. The other gentleman was friendly and helpful when a guest left their dog in the room to bark for hours. Colleen and the guy who helped with the dog: if you read this, pick a better property. You have the talent and the people skills to do better than this. Get yourselves out of this place and make a career in a place that cares. If you get anything from this review, do NOT stay here. Pay a little extra and stay at one of the many other hotels that make up the intersection of Garth Road and I-10. Unless of course you want to feel absolutely filthy for the duration of your stay. Extended Stay America - if this is your business model, I sincerely hope that your company crashes and burns. What an absolute travesty of a product you market to your guests. Some people came during our stay to replace the sign for the hotel in the parking lot. Hereās an idea, put that money into the product that your guests pay to utilize, not your signage.
