Great hotel at very reasonable price . Very nice big adult pool and Kiddie pool with the fountain . Lots of large green big trees . Environment friendly . Very Close less than a mile to Matagorda Bird watching Trail and half an hour to Matagorda Beach .

For a daily rate , a little more than I would have liked, however definitely was worth it, kind staff, easy check in , had breakfast and overall a good stay

Fungus on the restrooms! I got moved twice and both restrooms had fungus! Beds are super hard! And if there is construction on the roof, staff will not let you know beforehand! And they will not care one bit!

As soon as you enter this place you will know the reason for this negative review. Rudest staff Dirty and smelly rooms Outdated food items in the breakfast bar Overcharging for the prepaid stay Roaches everywhere Cig butts everywhere Crappy furniture - torn upholstery cracked tables and chairs

The stay was nice the room next to us was loud in the night. The room and the property were cleaned. The employees were nice. The breakfast was better than the other hotel we had stayed at on previous visits.
