My wife and I checked-in on 3/7. My wife was ill so we did not leave the room on Friday. I needed food, no menu in the room only a QR code.(I don't do QR code) Went downstairs to the restaurant and there were 2 people standing at the front (no customers), I asked for a menu of food I can take to the room. I ordered a Cesar salad and added salmon. A little later I was handed a cardboard small container & I had to ask for utensils. In the room I opened the container only half full with a piece of salmon the size of a hot dog with a hard crust. I broke the plastic fork trying to cut the salmon, so I ate it with my hands, There was only 2 little table spoons of dressing. So i ended up with plain lettuce. Did I mention it cost over $30. Disappointment was the result.

If you want to see excellent customer service at work, have Tammy as your server! She was great! Customer service seems to be a lost art in Austin, but not at this hotel. I have been coming here off and on, for business, since the hotel first opened 10+ years ago. The hotel benefits from its prime location at the Domain, but is starting to show its age. Unfortunate and awkward mixup at checkin when they assigned me a room that was already occupied. The hotel felt congested due to renovations to the restaurant and lounge, crowding everyone into the lobby. Wifi was nonexistent - I could not connect from my room AT ALL and I am in the lobby writing this now using my 5G because the wifi is so spotty. Glad to see they finally renovated the peeling and cracking concrete around the pool.

We had a destination wedding in Austin and several of our families in stayed at the Weston at the Domain for the duration (though the affair was held elsewhere). I have to say, the staff at the hotel were fantastic! With multiple events during the weekend, all sorts of issues on my end came up and the hotel couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful!!! Truly, they were a pleasure. It started with Jacklyn who set things up in advance. Even though we mostly communicated via phone, she was kind, understanding and most importantly, extremely competent and responsible. I felt very confident in her hands. Though she was off duty during our stay, she was key to initially getting this whole thing going and setting things up for whatever I needed to have happen. I believe Alyssa was in charge in Jacklyn’s absence and she, too was just so kind and helpful. It really mattered a lot, more than she knows. But probably the most important person during our stay was Roselin at the front desk. I can’t tell you how many times she was there to bail me out. The thing is, she’s one of those people who is so warm and when I was stressed to the max, she made everything right. I truly can’t thank her enough. Others played a role in things as well and I could but won’t list the entire front desk team. But relevant to this review, I want to give them the highest possible recommendation and thank you.

Customer Service was excellent! All of the staff were friendly, helpful, informative and attentive. I especially enjoyed the service we received from Tammy in the Urban and American Grille that is part of the hotel. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. We will revisit!
