Given the price we paid (roughly $135, all-in), I consider it a steal. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, the breakfast way above average, and the location very good. The only downside was that the AC had an annoying motion detector placed in the living room, basically turning it off during the night, but it didn’t bother us during our March visit.

We enjoyed our couple of nights in Austin - the hotel is conveniently located near the highway (about 10-15 min away from downtown), the room is spacious, plenty of parking, and free breakfast. It fitted the bill for us!

Terrible customer service!!!! My Dad was admitted to the emergency room unresponsive and placed into ICU, I cancelled my room a couple hours after check in and asked for a credit at another Springhill (I didn’t even ask for the money back!!) and they denied my one time courtesy request which they do give certain customers. I offered proof of him at the hospital. This is not how you treat customers and says a lot about what to expect at a hotel like this. Stay anywhere else but here!! RUN.

Woke at 5:30 am to car alarms going off. Found our car window broken out as well as other cars in the parking lot. When ask about cameras, we where told they had plenty but not required to show them to us. No help al all. This is what happens when you stay in Austin where they have defunded the police. Crime runs rapid.

I chose this hotel on the recommendation of family but it was actually for another property not this location. On arrival I was told that they only "refresh" (not clean) your room every other day but someone would be there tomorrow. And if I needed anything else just come down and ask. I immediately thought it was weird that I would have to come down but ok fine. I'm by myself with my 1 and 3 year old I just want to get up to my room . When the next night, I had to ask for someone to "refresh"my room I was shamed and told that it's not the policy. On my way out for the evening I said I just need some towels and the trash taken out (remember 1 and 3 year old) The young man at the front dest said when you come back just come here and ask for towels and then leave your trash out. In my head I'm thinking can you do this while I'm telling you I'm gone????? Absolutely not. When I got back I had to ask again and then someone came up with some towels and then a trash bag...for me to take the trash out!! I had already put it outside like the previous employee told me to do and he would take care of it. So I threw all my trash (in bags) and dirty towels in the hall and they didn't get picked up for over 12 hours! I don't work there! I would not recommend and think it's the worst service I've ever had at a hotel.
