Lone Star Court by Valencia Hotel Collection

The Lone Star Court is a blast to the past! The photos of the “court” ring true. Its unexpected location, which is in the heart of The Domain, provides the walkability to countless restaurants and shops. Although, once you enter the lobby at Lone Star and walk into the outdoor court it transports to another time and setting. Beautifully maintained, with rockers in front of rooms, secure pool area, outside tables and the Watering Trough restaurant I felt like Marty in Back to the Future. Loved the vibe, we can’t wait to return.

Our leadership team used the Tack conference room for two days of meetings. David and the staff were very attentive to our needs. The food was good and there was plenty of it. If week were lacking anything, it was quickly resolved by ansking. Everything went smoothly. We will come back again.

The hotel was beautiful and well maintained. Everything centrally located and had a very casual feeling, while still having the luxuries you'd look for in a nice hotel stay. The staff were amazing and made our stay so easy. We were part of a large business group and they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Would love to come back and spend more time for a vacation.

I have stayed here before but it has changed quite a bit. The landscaping/outdoor area is nice. No dogs allowed, food quality was way down they loss their chef. You have to pay for coffee. It use to be complimentary. I don’t care for in room Keurig coffee. You have to pay for parking now. The showers are still great but my mattress needed to be replaced. It was breaking down. Room is nice but it needed some maintenance on grout etc. my room smelled damp/mold?

Our group of about 30 descended into the bar on Wed the 9th for happy hour. The sole bartender was completely overtaken but never skipped a beat. Kept his head down & just worked the problem one drink at a time until help arrived. I used to wait & bartend. I recognized the weeds he was in but also recognized how well he handled it. Great job!
