La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Austin Near The Domain

We had a lovely stay at La Quinta! It’s a great, pet-friendly place — our dog was very comfortable, and the atmosphere was welcoming. The room was clean and cozy. We did have a couple of small issues like a key card not working and missing towels, but the staff was kind and quick to resolve everything. Overall, a wonderful and convenient stay for families with pets!

Terrible hotel do not stay at this place. They don’t protect your data. I get hacked by their Wi-Fi and I have to go to Apple center deal with my 1100$ phone around three hours. Also, their bed is not comfortable. The reception people are so mean and rude and their AC air conditioner is have a horrible noise sound so on my checking time she hold me for hours and half She didn’t even. Welcome me to wait in the lobby she said you have to go Outside and come back in an hour and a half and then there was a young lady she worked also on reception too she told her we have a room available 304 at third floor. She said no so after hour and a half. I’m back to the reception. I have wait another 30 to 40 minutes when I go to the room same thing The room is smell really bad and the bed is not comfortable. Also, the air conditioner noises very horrible. I back to reception. I let them know about the problems. They didn’t care they said that’s the only room you can have it. We cannot change the room. Also another thing the next day I get hacked by the Wi-Fi I tried that to type my passcode to log into my phone keep locked me out and when I go to Apple center, they deal with the problem for three hours. The technician guy said you’ve been hacked because they don’t let us do anything on the phone and then I have to stay over there for three hours so that hotel doesn’t have safe WiFi they don’t have any policy to protect the customer data the reception Night Shift people also always in their phone. They didn’t care what you ask them. Any questions They said we can do nothing. Our manager is not here anyway that’s all my honest experience with La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Austin Near the Domain.

We had a nice experience at the La Quinta Inn and Suites near The Domain in Austin. The hotel lobby, dining area, and guestrooms are clean and attractive. Our guestroom had abundant lamps, three chairs, a desk, a comfortable bed, and a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower. Our two windows overlooked the inner courtyard which was attractive and quiet in winter. The only negative aspects of the room were a broken coffee maker and a lack of ice machines on our floor. The hotel design offers several exit options which are a nice convenience. The "Pizzazz" factor is the hotel's proximity to the Domain shopping area which consists of over 100 stores and restaurants as well as a Whole Foods Market. One doesn't have to spend a dime in order to enjoy a stroll along the many avenues that crisscross the immense shopping area. With so many amenities, the La Quinta Inn and Suites is a good bargain for the Austin area.

This location has some of the worst staff I have EVER worked with. Why they feel these individuals should have customer facing positions, surprises me. So let's start with room: Bugs on Sheets, AC not working properly, Shower fixture coming off of wall, key cards not working properly. Staff Issues: No policy to address homeless individuals eating at "free" breakfast. The staff chose to confront an individual who was wearing sweats and some slides, accusing him of coming in off the street and not a guest at the hotel stating. "Food is only for guests" which they responded that they had been there all week in two rooms and showed keycards and provided name only to be told they weren't a guest. They finally confirmed that they were and NEVER appologized. This was in front of many other guests and I was embarrased for the way they treated this individual. Then when we requested the name of the GM, the front desk individual just smirked and gave us some general number at Wyndham to call, knowing they wouldn't do anything at an individual owned property. I will never stay at this location and possibly never stay at another La Quinta, I guess you get what you pay for.

The hotel is walking distance to The Domain. Easy in and out with access to major streets. Plenty of areas to go out and eat. Price is very affordable. The rooms are a little aged but for the rate they were ok. Wi-Fi needs updating if you intend to work from room.
