Courtyard by Marriott Austin Airport

Catching a flight from Austin tomorrow and decided to stay at the Austin airport Courtyard Marriott. So glad I did. Convenient location and great service. We were greeted by Lisette and Jen, and immediately felt like we were in a very welcoming space. The Bistro was open. Devin, the bartender, is absolutely awesome!! Great personality, quick and friendly service! Really enjoyed the friendly conversation. Thanks, Devin. I am lookingg forward to our next stay at this hotel.

Pilots don’t stay here. As a night train pilot this hotel isn’t it. No free coffee or breakfast and the bistro closes at 9am. What a disappointment. We have had the company change our policy so we don’t stay here anymore. They also charge $15 for parking which you don’t find out about till you’re here. Such a scam.

Room was clean, bed very comfortable. There is a wide choice of pillows and the bed cover ... candid. The only problem, like in most US Hotels, is that you choose between sweating or a noisy rumbling air conditioning. At check in, no recognition for my Gold status ..

Best Bistro experience anywhere in the US! I have stayed at dozens of Courtyards across the country over the last 20 years, but I have never had the level of service Devin provided this evening! Checking in at the table, great mixed drinks… just wonderful.

I was there for a week. As soon as I walked in, I felt at home! The room was super clean and the bed and fluffy pillows were incredibly comfortable. The best part was the cheerful, front desk staff. From Christine explaining the late checkout options with her cheerful patience, to Lawrence helping me utilize the pickleball courts and complimentary equipment. To top it off, Timmy answered all my questions with patience and a warm smile, always greeting me when I returned with a complimentary water bottle. Simply first class! I don’t know where management found such young, All Star talent and I sincerely hope they do everything they can to keep them growing in their leadership. I know I’ll be returning to Austin soon and there’s no other place I’d prefer to stay at.
