Canopy by Hilton Austin Downtown

Iwest at the valet is awesome! It was a pleasure chatting with him. Iwest created an excellent first impression for Canopy hotel. His personal contribution elevated our stay from the start. He communicates professionally & sincerely, with clarity. Iwests customer service was excellent. We felt very welcomed. 5 stars from arrival.

Location was great. Bathroom/shower situation is the worst design. The floor is finished concrete and the shower soaks the entire floor. I slipped and fell and JACKED my knee up. Getting it looked at today. Another person almost slipped, too. Front desk wasn’t super concerned with it, but asked if we wanted some one to clean it and we said yes because we couldn’t even walk in there. You have to point the shower head to the wall, but even then water will get everywhere and you shower in a corner. Also, we expected some noise from the surrounding bars, but it felt like we were sleeping in the DJ booth. We didn’t see the ear plugs until this morning. All in all, BE CAREFUL in the bathroom and use the ear plugs or bring your own.

Filthy, noisy neighborhood, personnel has an attitude, and be prepared to pay for the bottled water in the room: they present it as an amenity but they'll charge you $8 a pop. Deceitful as hell!!! Worst Hilton hotel ever! The only redeeming quality is the Verbena Restaurant, where the food and the service are very good.

Very clean hotel, excellent service and even better location. The restaurant is beautiful and great food options for all guests. We had a business dinner here and loved the atmosphere. Live music on Thursdays. You must stay here every time you visit ATX!

Nice location with great customer service. Ana and Veronica at front desk stand out for their friendly service. Had good food and service in restaurant for breakfast and Michael in the bar was fun and friendly. Need to understand that you will get lots of noise from 6th St in rooms facing the street.
