Homewood Suites by Hilton Amarillo

Have just spent the night in this wonderful hotel. We are currently travelling across America staying in a various hotels and to date have found Homewood Suites to be one of the best. Excellent value for money the Hotel is very clean with great facilities. Anita on reception is amazing and couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. Our room was great, extremely large, more like a mini apartment with great cooking/kitchen facilities. The bathroom was large with everything we needed and also the bed was extremely comfortable. All in all this was an excellent hotel and one I would highly recommend to all travellers needing a night or more in Amarillo.

Overnighted here on our way Dallas. The lady who checked us In was rude and very unprofessional. We are Diamond members and she could have cared less. She treat us like crap. The room itself was fine. The furniture needed updating but other than that it was clean and roomie. Breakfast was OK nothing to really brag about, but it was eatable. When we checked out the lady was fantastic. Super friendly and very attentive. All and all, we Would stay here again

So the room was a king suite with sleeper sofa. It had plenty of room and eating areas for all of us. The bed was comfortable and the heater worked great. The only minor issue for 4 out of 5 was the cleaning. There were some small stains on the bed sheet when we pulled back the comforter. Also some hair in the shower and sink. Along with some small smudges here and there that were missed. The breakfast was great lots of choices for everyone. I would definitely stay here again. There are plenty of restaurants, fast food, gas, and it’s off the highway.

We made reservations online the day before arrival. We pulled into the property about 10pm and my wife noticed a large cell tower behind the building. My wife has medical issues and has been told to stay away from 5g and cell towers. I explained this to the front desk people who were very friendly and I asked if we could be refunded so we could stay somewhere else. They said that they were unable but I should call the area manager Karen. The next morning I did and was told that it was not allowed by there corporate office and she could do nothing because it was the day of when we were canceling. I have been a longtime member of Hilton. This will be my last reservation made at any Hilton. Beware of the Towers close to there hotels, they even put them on there buildings. Wayne

My husband & I stayed here for the night. We had a very nice home away from home with a king size suite. Small kitchen, seating area & a very comfortable bed, also very clean. When checking in Pamela was very friendly & welcoming, with suggestions on places to eat. The next morning, we had a nice breakfast of eggs, sausage & fried potatoes. There were other food items. When checking out, the lady (sorry did not get her name) was also very friendly & nice. Asking if there was anything else her team could have done to make our stay more enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again,
