To the management Team, Upon arriving at the La Quinta at 8:15 PM, I was assigned to room 203. To my dismay, the room lacked a working heater, and the TV only had three channels that would constantly blackout. When I reached out to the front desk, the clerk came up to try and fix the heater he was very nice. He told me to give it a few minutes, but the heater never turned on. I requested to be moved to a room with both a functioning heater and TV. Despite this urgent request, the front desk changed shifts, and I wasn't moved until nearly 1 AM â a staggering 3.5-hour delay. The two women at the front desk finally found me a new room, room 217. They did not check to ensure the heater worked, though, and when I asked if they could assist in moving my belongings by providing a cart, I was simply told there was one in the front lobby. Once moved, I waited another 20 minutes for the heater to kick in, but once again, it failed to work. At 1:37 AM, I called the front desk requesting blankets for myself and my 9-year-old daughter to stay warm. I also asked if they could find a room with heat. Around 1:56 AM, the front desk brought the blankets, but they were damp and incomplete â only three blankets and a sheet were provided, even though I requested four. I explained that I suffer from severe anemia, which causes fatigue, shortness of breath, and other issues when triggered. I had just driven four and a half hours to get there, and I urgently needed to rest. The front desk explained there were no other rooms available due to a cheer competition in the area. Left with no choice, I started calling other hotels, but they were all sold out due to the event. I eventually bought a space heater from Walmart to keep us warm. I requested to speak with the manager on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning before checking out. I was supposed to stay until Monday, but the conditions had made it impossible for me to continue my stay without risking my health. So, I checked out at 11 AM, even though my daughterâs report time for her event wasnât until 1:30 PM. I called the front desk to ask if I could leave at 1 PM due to the exhaustion from the previous night, but I was told I would be charged an additional room rate if I didnât check out at 11 AM. Upon checking out, I requested to speak with the manager. The front desk clerk told me that the manager was "Indian" and didnât work on Sundays because he spends the day in church for prayer. I also requested a printed copy of my receipt, but was told the printer wasnât working and that she would email it to me. This morning, I called again to speak with the manager, but I was told he wasnât on-site yet. The lack of care and attention I received during my stay was disheartening and hurtful. It was as though my health and well-being didnât matter to the staff. I am requesting a full refund for the discomfort, inconvenience, and the impact this experience had on my health. The way I was treated, especially when I was vulnerable, was completely unacceptable.

Very helpful with everything, room is nice and has a lot of accommodations. The blankets are very soft and the queen size beds actually are queen sized instead of full size. The pool was heated! The only bad thing about staying here is how many people stay here at once

The warm pool and pool area was wonderful. Being out of the busy heavily trafficked area of Pigeon Forge was nice as well! Being able to check in early was nice as well. Not being charged a pet fee for my service dog was a blessing. Some hotels charge even for a service dog.
