Hotel was way below acceptable. Budget friendly should not mean run down and filthy. In our room was the last occupants dirty clothes still in the bathroom! Fridge flooded the floor. Staff had ZERO customer service skills. Not even an apology!

**Review of Red Roof Inn Music City – Nashville, TN (2407 Brick Church Pike)** Our stay at the Red Roof Inn Music City left a lot to be desired. The room was extremely outdated, with dim lighting covered in rust, and the light switches were so worn out that one even broke when we turned it on. The furnishings looked old and way past their prime, giving the room a rundown feel. The bedding was stained and had a general sense of "grossness," making us uncomfortable and hesitant to use it without extra precautions. The bathroom was in poor condition as well, with multiple dings in the walls, all badly in need of plaster and repair. It gave off a neglected vibe, which unfortunately mirrored the overall state of the room. We ended up cleaning the room ourselves and opted to wear shoes the entire time. Despite the room’s disappointing condition, there were a few positives. The hotel’s exterior and parking lot were clean, and while we’ll see how the safety holds up overnight, it did seem reasonably secure. The lobby was basic but tidy, and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful, especially when we requested a room with easy access for a senior service dog. The hotel is pet-friendly, which is a plus, but given the state of the room, it’s not somewhere we’d want to stay for more than a night. If you’re just looking for a quick stop to sleep and hit the road, it might work. However, for comfort and cleanliness, you may want to consider other options.

garbage hotel. Disgusting, ran down, none of the included amenities were available. Hotel falling apart spiders, bums outside people tried to rob me when I went to the McDonald’s next door, pathetic..

Room set up for 1 person. There were 2 of us. No plug in cover behind the nightstand so unable to use for a CPAP machine. Good coffee! Washer and dryer out of order for our clothes drenched in the heavy rain. Swimming pool closed.

The room was unspectacular but clean and free of smoke smell. I was only in Nashville for a one-night stay, so it worked well for that purpose. There were two relatively minor inconveniences that would have become more annoying on a multiple day stay: First, the bedside lamp was missing its on/off switch, so the only way to operate it was to screw/unscrew the light bulb. Second, there was no electrical outlet easily accessible from the bed, which made charging my phone and plugging in my c-pap more impractical than it should have been. Front desk personnel were friendly and helpful but no breakfast items were put out at all. This was an issue for me as well because I made this trip on a shoestring budget to do some personal research and thus had to end up skipping breakfast altogether. All in all, three stars for the clean room and courteous, helpful staff. For the price, in a major tourist trap, for one night, the accommodations were fine. For an extended stay or if you are a traveler who enjoys the extras, I would consider staying somewhere else.
