Train whistled multiple times a night. Didnāt sleep all night. Location not convenient. Very far from downtown. Safe not working. Sofa bed not real bed. Neighbourhood didnāt feel safe. Smell of pot in the building. Very disappointed in this hotel. Would not return.

Pros & cons to this interesting place. LOVED the look, the vibe, and the location was great to be so NEAR the downtown action but away from it. The bed/pillows were incredibly perfect, shower was great, and having access to the communal kitchen was a plus. Free easy parking. I like having a security code instead of a key, but getting to our room involved punching in a 6 digit code at least 4 times, EVERY time (exterior entrance, elevator, room hallway, & finally our room). Cons/oddities: it didn't feel like a hotel. No kleenex, phone, or "hotel" info in our room. No ice machine and no 'do not disturb' sign, which didn't matter b/c there was no maid service. We could make ice in the kitchen fridge or get 1 small bag at the front desk. I'd stay here again now knowing these things, but figuring them out when expecting a hotel experience was a bit odd. Wish the market shop & restaurant were open more hours, but I think that reflects to it being primarily a residential property and not a typical hotel. Ask for a room that is not on the train-track side. Check out the rooftop area. Very nice & helpful staff.

To begin with, we were randomly assigned this hotel by a third party web site. It would not have been a āhotelā I would have deliberately chosen. I would describe this place more like an upper end hostel than a hotel. It was a decent size room and did have a private bath. Murphy bed was comfortable enough.Large T.V. But only worked through apps (No Cable).Floor was painted cement. It was clean and about a mile away from downtown Nashville. We did have a nice view of the city from our 6th floor room. (Uber to Broadway cost $5 to $15 depending on time of day).Outdoor parking was free on premises. It is definitely a newer building. The biggest problem that we had with our stay was the room acoustics. When you see a set of earplugs on the night table in your room you know something is amiss. I had read reviews about train noise affecting previous guests stay but we did not experience that but rather we were āentertainedā by a woman in the next room in the heat of passion one morning. These walls are paper thin. There were only six rooms on our floor but it sounded like people were coming and going in the hallway all night. It does not help that there are two washers and dryers and a common room with a t.v. and full kitchen at the far end of the hallway. While these are conveniences for some guests they make for a noisy stay. Unless this hotel can solve the acoustics I cannot justify the room cost. We are not overly sensitive to noise, the place is just poorly insulated. You could literally hear someone punching in their code to enter their room.

Stayed here with my husband and his father and his partner. The beds were comfortable and the shower was good but that was about it. There was no amenities in the room. Not even a cake of soap to wash your hands. There was an external kitchen that had no cutlery or cups. Was unable to use the tv as you had to sign into an apple tv account that we didn't have as we are international travellers who didn't have this service.
