Room not cleaned for the full trip, had to ask for toilet paper and had to wash towels and sheets myself. Room was very very noisy due to the flushing of toilets and running water starting at 3 am from the pipes in our ceiling. Our room was on the main floor. Pool was not open and was not told until we got there.

After arriving at 11pm we were given our room, upon going to the room we discovered a room that was under renovation, 2nd visit to get room, given a room, try to unlock it and the internal lock is on the door, security eventually get in thinking look has accidentally been flipped only to find the room already occupied. 3rd try at approximately 12.30pm we get a room! Receptions customer service skills were a little lacking but she did give us a discount on our parking for our inconvenience. Hotel is in a pretty good location, a short uber ride to Broadway. Hotel is a little tired but neat and clean enough with everything we needed in our 1 bedroom apartment.

Reception was warm and friendly with an online check in. Great spacious apartment with a full kitchen that is well appointed. coffee and tea were provided. The furniture and beds are very comfortable with quality towels and bedding. Would highly recommend for a long stay.

If, like me, you were overwhelmed by the amount of reviews, both good and bad, for hotels in Nashville, do not hesitate in booking Placemakr. I read lots of negative reviews online saying the walls in the hotels were too thin and people were kept awake with loud neighbours. This wasn’t an issue in Placemakr. One of the reasons I booked an apartment was the negative reviews about noise. The apartment is very spacious and well equipped. A fully fitted kitchen with double American refrigerator, a nice sitting area with smart TV. Washing machine and tumble dryer, along with some cleaning tablets and softener sheets. A large utility area with space for all of your clothes. Within the utility area is also an iron and ironing board. Location is very straightforward. If you are fit and able you can be right in the centre of the bars of music row following a 25 min walk. Out of the hotel doors, two turns and then it’s a straight walk. Staff were welcoming each time you pass through the lobby. Overall, a very positive experience and would recommend. 10/10
