Moxy Nashville Downtown

The stock photos are very deceiving. Marriot should be embarrassed by the rooms. They are so small that the table and chairs hang on the wall along with 4 clothes hangers because there's no floor space to use them! Since there's no space there are NO amenities in the room (coffee,ice, glasses,frig,microwave,room safe, closet NOTHING). There's a 12"x12" nightstand wedged in between the bed and wall. . Location is nice but the additional $55 parking is not!!! Eat elsewhere, the restaurant was nothing special for the price. And make time to iron clothes, you share that room with everyone on your floor. Failed at comfort in an attempt to be cute hoping people don't notice I suppose.

This is a horrible hotel. Its completely off the rails and off brand coming from a very regular Marriott elite member. You should only stay here if you plan to get black out drunk, because that is the only way for you to sleep in these rooms. The room was crazy noisy, had really poor decor choices like a frosted window on the front door, peeling trim, a broken light in the bathroom, and a dreadful shower. You cannot blackout the ambient light or noise. Stay away.

As a Marriott Titanium member I spend a lot of time in hotels. Unless you want to party til 2:30 am, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. You check in at the bar if that tells you anything. The location is great, but you listen to multiple rooftop bands all night. For the price, there is no refrigerator, no coffeemakers, no safe, luke warm showers …just a room and bed. Though I’m a die hard Marriott fan, I wouldn’t stay again.

No hot water for two days. We were told we would be compensated and we have not been. Very speedy for no hot water!The on site staff was very nice and lobby music was very good, but dealing with the manager was frustrating. We spent spent a lot of money and in trying to get some money back, the manager got upset with us!

This was my second stay at a Moxy hotel. Nashville wins out over Brooklyn but these are a different type of hotel and you need to understand that before staying. In this Nashville location you check in at the lobby bar while being entertained by live country music performers. They also have a pool table in the lobby. The room here was small (but better than Brooklyn). There wasn’t any place for us to easily open our one large suitcase. The location was good for anyone looking for the country music bar scene downtown. Roof top bar here was very expensive. Lobby bar seemed a bit more reasonable.
