Hyatt Place Nashville Airport

Room was as expected given, but bleach smell was overwhelming. Rate was fair/market for the area and my needs. Front desk attendant would disappear for hours on end with nobody able to find. This was only an issue for me as I wanted to buy water, but others wanted to check in/out. With so many choices around BNA airport, I would consider other options with Marriott or Hilton rewards programs.

During my recent stay at Hyatt Place, I was extremely disappointed by the lack of service and the poor quality of the accommodations. As frequent guests of Hyatt properties, we were shocked by the condition of this location. Our room had a wet carpet, a broken shower that continuously dripped and flooded the bathroom floor, and—most disturbingly—there were blood stains on our pillows. This is absolutely unacceptable, especially for a hotel that markets itself as a three-star property. We were truly appalled by the experience and are just thankful we were only staying for one night. We expected much better from the Hyatt brand and left feeling deeply dissatisfied.

The room was not cleaned prior to my stay. I asked the staff to clean my bathroom and she didn’t speak English. She then tried to clean my room with 4 of her young children. I was very uncomfortable and had to translate that through her son. Not enough parking.

The front desk service is nice. The room is way too old and has a mold smell although relatively as clean as it can get. The furnitures also have a good amount of wear and tear. The bed is clean but not the bedding is not very comfortable. The hotel rates feels like should be around 70-80 per night.

The carpet was still wet after being shampooed and the sofa was disgusting. Lamps didn’t work and the bedside USB charger didn’t work either. Disappointing for a Hyatt property. The room simply didn’t have the current standard USB outlets.
