#1- the pics on the website are NOT accurate- not just the building but the rooms too. I needed a spa weekend for myself and booked a "King Suite" with a jacuzzi in the room. My reservation was from Saturday, 12/10 and checking out Tuesday, 12/13. The ONLY positive thing was there was plenty of hot water for the tub. I understand this is an older establishment but that does not mean it cannot and should not be clean- this was not clean; it was absolutely filthy. There were also multiple maintenance issues as well- a large crack in the glass wall behind the jacuzzi, a toilet that moved when used, a vent in the bathroom on the wall above the toilet that was hanging down due to only having 1 screw. Normally, I would have just fixed it myself, but it was filthy. Instead, I used one of the two towels provided, which were not full size and very thin (I chose the one that had long black hairs tangled in it as my hair is blonde) and just put it in the hole in the wall. The drawers were broken and dirty as well, so my clothes never left my suitcases. The bed posts had been nailed to the wall (green plaster) on both sides and the boards were coming out, nails exposed, which is which happens with plaster. A child or a not so cautious adult could have been seriously injured just by simply running their hand down the bed post. There was no phone in the room, no alarm clock, the microwave was not working and there were no lamps (as pictured) on the bedside tables. The pillows were stained, and the pillowcases did not cover that up at all- and the "comfortable king size bed" was lumpy and hard. On top of the layers of dust (I have pics I am hoping I will be allowed to post) there was an assortment of trash under/ behind the bed. Some of these items, like an eye mask, had been there so long, they were caked with dust/ dirt and what appeared to be the 1st stages of mold. When opening the door to enter the room, the carpet was torn and very frayed, not just the ends but a big patch. In all honesty, it was the least of my concerns, I arrived later than expected and decided to just stay the night and make the best of it. I used a chair to barricade the door as the latch was also loose. I left around lunch today and decided to call and cancel the remainder of my stay once I returned home- the lobby was closed, and they had it set up like a gas station late at night where all documents/ credit cards, etc. had to be slid under a partition to the front desk person- this was not due to covid, but rather their lobby being closed- no matter the time of day- they were also not offering breakfast as advertised on their site. I finally got a chance to call and spoke to a man named "Jason". I explained that I had left and needed to cancel the remaining reservation I had. I also told him, or tried to, tell him what I had encountered and how shocked I was by the condition of the motel's building and my room. Despite what I had experienced, he told me that since I was calling at 8:00pm, he would only be able to refund my stay for Monday as I had "missed the 11:00am deadline". It did not matter that my Spa time was ruined, and I only wanted to return to my home asap to take a shower. He said I should have notified them about the room immediately so they could clean it- I told him this was not simply a light cleaning, and I tried to tell him of the actual maintenance issues that were also safety hazards. His response was that they would have moved me to another room- I told him that I should have never been assigned that room to begin with and they should not put anyone in it until the items are fixed. Long story short- I spent $260.00 for a night that unfortunately I will not be able to forget any time soon.

This was an affordable place for overnight travel…room was very clean, great bed, and breakfast was good. Whoever cleans for this establishment knows how to clean properly..room was excellent. Also, there was no smelly carpet. Also very quiet.

Customer service.. dude was friendly and I'm a woman. (Referring to past comments) . But it's 90. I've stayed across the United States in low budget hotels, but this takes the cake. This is not a comfortable stay for 90!! The bedding is damp...I called and asked for new bedding and was told I don't have any. The fold out couch looks gross. I can't sleep in this hard bed.. the shower doesn't get hot. And again it was 90 freaking dollars. Table has no chairs. Bathtub looks discussing. This is ridiculous.

Booked this room for my brother. Called them to confirm it was pet friendly as my brother was possibly going to bring his dog. They did say there was a fee. No problem. Left them my number in case they needed a card, versus cash, for incidentals. My brother shows up and during check-in, with his dog in plain sight of check-in, asks about the dog and the gentleman did not charge him. Okay, he wasn't going to push the issue. The next day I get an overly aggressive call from a woman saying there was a dog fee and it needs to be paid. I told her it would be paid, but not sure why it wasn't taken care of during check-in. She was very rude and angry and told me it didn't matter as they locked him out of his room. First off, I find that to be incredibly unacceptable. Secondly, why was she being so aggressive and rude and had to call me about it? Just to show how hateful she can be to her guests, I suppose? Lastly, there was no hot water and my brother was unable to shower. When I made a complaint they blatantly lied about it. Not surprised showing the level of guest satisfaction they gave leading up. Angry, rude and unprofessional "service" Go elsewhere...
