This was the most sad moment in my life, first day key wouldnt work, had to get receiptionist to let me in room each time. Then was given an employee key instead of giving me another room. This room had mice and holes in walls. Upon my request to be transferred the manager said no each time. Remind you i paid $427.00 for a week, he also said i could not get a refund so i can go else where. Housekeeping sucked, shower smelled like urine, hallway floors had dog pooped and some more things in carpet. Trash everywhere. Two house keepers beefing in hallway at my door.

My boyfriend, his mother and their 2 dogs stayed here in January 2022. The room was in horrible shape, nothing looked clean, and the walls and doors are paper thin. There was rarely anyone at the front desk. When booking the room, we were told it was $10 per night per pet (so $20 total) but when we got there, it changed to $20 a night per pet (so an additional $40 EVERY NIGHT). They were scheduled to stay for 15 nights, and the reservation had already been made, so we agreed to it. One night, my boyfriend and I went to the gas station on the corner of Shelby Oaks and Sycamore View when a gunfight errupted. There were about 9 shots fired in something that clearly looked like a hit. Thankfully, we were not hurt, however, my car now has a bullet hole through it. When returning to the room that night, everyone was kept awake all night due to the fact that the man next door had been shot AND stabbed. We should have "noped" out of there at check-in due to the Memphis Police being on scene. In addition, the door that leads into the hotel from the lobby is supposed to require a hotel key to get in, however, the handle on the door had been ziptied together so anyone could enter at any time. Getting a refund was more than difficult, as I was informed that they had a "no refund" policy. When I informed the general manager that we were forced to leave due to the man next door being shot and stabbed and feeling incredible unsafe, I was able to recoup some of my money. This place is in an unsafe area, there is little to no staff available, and the rooms are disgusting.

Only hotel I stay at when I visit my family in Memphis. Very hospitable and I am always accommodated by the office staff. Fresh linen and clean rooms.. If you need a reliable hotel, this is the one!!!

Needed a place to stay for business trip. Great location as it’s close to expressway and restaurants. Any issues, staff immediately resolved. Clean and quiet. Nice ppl stay in the hotel as well. Dog friendly.

My stay was great. I was checked in by Marvetta. She is wonderful. The entire staff is great. It has changed for the better. I highly recommend. I was able to bring my pets too, not many places allow dogs.
