This space feels new & clean. The bed is plush and luxurious. The gym is great. The room is compact. If you're only sleeping here and not hanging out in your room, it's great, but small. Breakfast is included. Parking is included. You can check-in on-line ahead of time.

We didn’t know this was a “green” hotel chain. At first glance, it is modern, and trendy in decor and the rooms are smaller but sufficient. But, the noise level is atrocious! It is next to the highway and the noise of the cars was tenacious even though our room had a tree view. There was also noise until at least 11 pm that sounded like moving heavy furniture in the halls. When you get up to go the bathroom- surprise the light sensors turn on the bright lights. Then we went to breakfast. Most of the tables were dirty and the floor was muddy and the desk clerk was at the computer. Apparently she man’s the desk and breakfast area. The breakfast is not what I would expect from a green hotel. The limited options were anything but health food. There were lots of individually wrapped items full of chemicals, sugar laden cereals, and white breads. If you eat eggs, there were hard boiled eggs and egg white omelets. The coffee and hot water was always available and the tea selection was good although a decaf and night option would be appreciated. We loved that it was always available.

Avid hotel is my new favorite choice in hotels based on the minimalist but well appointed rooms and updated decor. This particular location and room had some issues that I have not experienced in other Avid locations: I love the laminate (no carpet) flooring, but it was clear based on the amount of debris on the floor this room had in the bedroom area and under the desk/counter space it had not been vacuumed or swept when it was cleaned. The AC system is very loud when it kicks on, and this hotel is located near an off-ramp, so you get noise from large trucks and vehicle exhaust exiting the freeway in the early evening hours. Breakfast is available at 6:30 AM. By 6:45, a group of construction workers staying at the hotel had cleaned out the grab and go hot breakfast bar taking 2 and 3 breakfast sandwiches each. I did not ask the staff to see if there was more because I needed to "grab and go" but luckily there was some yogurt and granola bars available. The coffee machines that make coffee by the cup are pretty weak and make watered down coffee. I would stay here again only because it is one of the newer hotels in the area and it is not completely run down like the others. I would like to see Avid change the way they produce hotel receipts. Many of us on business have to submit hotel receipts to our accounting electronically. The hotel receipt is web based and shows up on two pages, splitting the cost breakdown and the total. Please make a condensed, printable receipt with all the charges that will produce on ONE page! Even accessing the receipt online through the IHG website produces a horrible 3 page broken up web page looking bill.

Clean, safe, well lit parking comfortable bed with a good breakfast selection at a great price. Just what you need after a long trip. Would recommend this hotel. Joni and Heather are a great morning team so helpful to my 90 year old veteran father.

This was the first time we tried an avid hotel. I can see the appeal. Everything is uncluttered and very neat looking with economical use of the space in the rooms. The check in staff was super friendly. The breakfast was basic. Unfortunately we could hear the road traffic all night and helicopter traffic from nearby as well. We would not stay again.
