Booked for a work trip. Was immediately turned off by “new upgrade policy” for long term stays. Was told because so many “FEMA” workers were staying at hotel long term, they no longer upgraded ambassador or titanium level long term stays. With that, the hotel itself was overall very nice. Convenient to interstate, nice common areas to lounge and great restaurant/bar staff. Front desk hit or miss. Room small, but clean and nice. Gym needs to be better maintained and updated equipment is desperately needed. Laundry facilities need new dryers. Only one dryer, and it didn’t get hot enough to dry clothes. Hotel stays busy with conference groups. I will stay here again and would recommend to others.

It has been a couple of years since I last visited this hotel and, honestly, this will hopefully be my last. The front desk staff could not be bothered to smile, and not only in my interactions with them, but with everyone who dared approach for check- in or questions. Check- out was not any better. The room was clean enough, I suppose. The comforter appeared to have been wadded up before being put on the bed - the wrinkles were not easily achieved. The floor was dusty, and the remote worked occasionally. To be fair, it was a busy weekend - but the banquet staff still did an amazing job in every interaction. My last few visits were 5 star - this one not so much. I frequently stay at Marriott properties, and this one just does not measure up.

I have maybe 1-2 total dining experiences in my entire 50 yrs on earth that could rival the awful, even horribly disappointing experience that I had here. ( both those were with my mother in law & this was without her, so……) Mgmt was fast and loose , seeming to have experienced such extreme outrage and disappointment far more than a few times, even to point of “handling” me down to an art form. The server was slow and flippant from the start, but having been a server both times I went for further education, I was sympathetic that things happen and we all have bad days. She was extremely rude and even after sending my entire meal back asking only to have food on bill removed, she actually stated, “ I don’t care because here, honey, people come and never come back! It’s not like they care” I think she meant travelers in her system??! There was a large party of people in a closed in room within the semi formal dining room that included a sports team of teenagers. Maybe she was referring to that part of their business. We haven’t been to eat at MCC since first years of opening& then agin prob around 2018. I can remember the epic brunch buffet including seafood . While enjoying oneself for brunch, u would see most of who’s who of Kpt , back in 2001-2008. While the hotel food experience has never been its previous equal, I admit I was astonished to experience the low level of service and flippant “ we just do not care “ atmosphere covering entire place! I could tell the food would have been very good had it been more than a bit less than room temperature, as I received it. A boy from the kitchen yelled for her from Kitchen, yes yelled/screamed … hence us hearing it from inside the kitchen. Then a boy ( no idea if same boy) came out of kitchen carrying two big plates, he softer than before, cried out her name. About 90 seconds later ( very very long time when ur hungry and can actually SEE the food u ordered, it’s within ur physical grasp) , but societal decorum says to wait…. Patiently…. watch while it gets cold while u continue to starve. Finally Morgan walks across dining room from somewhere inside the hotel , collects ur food and the next few moments with her are what cause u to lose ur appetite… I’m leaving the worst out and skipping to the end. Trying to warn others of this … while still keeping most to myself so expressing compassion Server actually told me to “ Go f*~

We went for Thanksgiving, we had reservations, when we got their people were everywhere, the Restaurant had two women at a lectern with tablets which was supposed to have had reservations. People had been standing for an hour who had reservations and were on time for their commitment. We finally got in the Ballroom to see a lot of empty tables, the only thing waiters were doing was bringing drinks, and picking up used plates from tables. The food was expensive, and had to wait as well is that what you want to do for a holiday meal. NOT NEXT YEAR!

Went to the Thanksgiving Buffet at the Meadowview Restaurant ... It was horrible. They ran out of many items on the buffet even ran out of clean plates. Coffee was cold. They were poorly prepared for the amount of people that made reservations. How does that happen?? Had 3pm reservations and waited til 4 to get seated. It was not even in the restaurant. It was in the open convention center next to it. The buffet was a mile away from the table. Just a BAD experience.
