Baymont by Wyndham Crossville

Raj the owner was great. The rooms were very clean. We used both the indoor pool and the hot tub and they were very clean. There is a nice field right next to the hotel for walking your dog. The hotel was very convenient to everywhere we wanted to go.

Do not book this hotel. We stopped on our way from taking supplies to NC for hurricane victims and needed a place to stay the night. They charged us $187 for 1 night! The sheets and comforter had holes and ink stains and the shower rod is held on with clamps. This isn't a high end motel and no where near worth the price we paid. Also, if you have sensitivity to chlorine, the whole first floor smells like it from the pool.

Go elsewhere. Our room was okay, but the tub's drain stop was sitting on the corner of the tub ledge. There are handwritten signs all over the lobby like "see front desk to use soda vending machine" and old Covid signage everywhere. Only one washer and dryer for 60+ rooms. The worst thing was there was no hot breakfast items left at 8:40 a.m. and breakfast was supposed to be served 6-9 a m. They didn't replenish items as is common practice at all other buffets. Orange juice had an "out of order" sign and apple juice was extremely watered down. You truly get a sense that management simply does not care and is just in it for the money. Other better options in the area.

Me and my boyfriend stay at this hotel every other week. We always have a great stay. Our room is always clean. We love it

Someone logged into my account and changed my ratings from 2017. The date I had to select to leave this updated review is incorrect. But what I wrote previously was correct. This is not normally a place I stay at, as I normally do not stay in hotels. But when or if I needed to, which is hardly ever, I prefer a very clean place. I'm not really sure why a hotel that has carpeting, allows pets. It doesn't make much sense. I am not going to say much more, as I am sure someone could understand what could happen when pet after pet is in these places, (especially a male dog/dogs) like to mark. Plus, some people are uncurtious and leave their animals unattended. I do not know who the owners of the place are, but the caretakers try their best to keep up with what is going on there. There are several businesses in the town that seem to go through a big turn over in employees. Food, like your fast-food etc. That you may enjoy in another state, mostly will not be or taste the same. The places that are normally franchise owned, seem to have gone off and done their own thing with the way food is prepared. For example, I have never had a sprite mixed with strawberries and some type of hot spice at a Burger King. Or ordered a Whopper in Cookeville and it comes with salsa on it. I have never ate a Big Mac with wheat buns or dry buns that bust apart when you pick them up. That is not the norm for such places. As these are some of my husband's favorite places. I'm not really sure what is going on in the area, if they are just randomly choosing people to do this with? But if you make a complaint, the problems seem to get worse. To the point of people following you. It's a very uneasy feeling to say the least.
