Hampton Inn Knoxville Clinton I 75

We stopped here late at night on a road trip South. It was a clean Hampton and we enjoyed our stay. We had to leave pretty quickly in the morning but enjoyed the free breakfast first. They had the usual and that included the make your own waffles.

Great stay. Rooms seemed mostly updated and were very comfortable. The only complaint is if you want first floor they do not have rooms with two beds. At least they didn’t when I stayed. Would not deter me from staying again though. Lots of restaurants to choose from nearby too. Overall great stay

We like to stop at this hotel on the way down for Spring break. Stayed here like 4 times now and is always great. We don't even stay long, (Less than 12 hrs) but get a clean room, comfortable bed and hot shower to get refreshed and back on the road. since we left before breakfast they even had a grab bag for us to eat in car. So one comment on price, since it wasn't a Fri/Sat the price was decent, I wanted to stay here on the way back but Friday night price was kind of crazy and I chose another property.

Hampton Inn, Clinton, Tennessee does not allow locals to stay at their hotel. Even though there is no such policy in their handbook, I was not only told I wasn’t welcome at their property to their property ever again and that I was not going to come back. They even called the police on me!!! They said I was trespassing. The son daughter duo that’s running this hotel, son, front desk, Mom general manager, Lacey bullied harassed me and once I left the hotel after being screamed at for simply asking why am I being told that I am not welcome at this hotel all I wanted to do is sleep eat and shower and wake up the next morning go to work. Not a chance here police officer told me that if I didn’t hand him my passport and so he can prove that I am not an illegal immigrant then I had no warrant against me or get this. I wasn’t a murderer. He was gonna let me go if I promise not to ever come back there again. Again, I asked what did I do wrong? Did I commit a crime? The officer and his sergeant worked laughing, making jokes as they watched me for 45 minutes with my hands and feet spread in front of their cruiser. When I called the corporate about this, they laughedand said they might give me a voucher. I still cannot believe I almost went to jail for trying to check into a hotel that I am a member of.

I rated it a 5...it's not a five-star hotel but it's a 5 out of 5 for what is advertised - good value, good night's sleep, decent hot breakfast. Exactly what we expected...not a lot of frills, but clean and pleasant, courteous service. LOVE the fact that comforters are washed after each guest. Comfortable bed with great pillow options.
