The room was very dirty. There was hair all over the bathroom, beer bottle caps next to the night stand, wrappers under the desk and something sticky on the closet door. There was a dead bug on the headboard and another on the windowsill. Tables had sticky spills and the room has not been vacuumed, wiped down nor had the bathroom floor been washed. Not up to Marriot standards! The pool has a slimy, dirty film around the water line and hair and grime on the floor. Daisy in housekeeping was empathetic, helpful and very professional. Elizabeth at the front desk was unprofessional, unpleasant and rude. Will never return to this hotel. 😢

I’m staying at TownPlace Suites while our house is being worked on due to neighbors house fire. The hotel staff, led by Kevin are always so welcoming and helpful. Very spacious and comfortable rooms and I enjoy my breakfast and Happy Hour by their beautiful fire pit

Our room was sparkling clean and spacious, and the beds were comfortable. We were only there for one night and wished our stay was longer. The location was convenient - close to restaurants and gas stations, but away from Chattanooga traffic. We would definitely stay again.

I’ve stayed at several Marriott properties, and this experience was by far the worst. It was around 4:30 PM when my 4-year-old grandson and I arrived to check in, despite having already done so through the app two days prior. Upon arrival, I was given a terrible room, and of course, I got the usual excuse: "We're at 90-95% capacity." I believe the staff member’s name was Elaine or something similar. She informed me that my room wasn’t clean but disappeared around the corner for a moment, only to return saying, "Oh, it’s clean, they just didn’t mark it." We were given one of only two rooms located at the front of the hotel, right next to the pool and facing a busy street. My grandson was eager to get to the pool, but before we even changed into our swimwear, I had to grab some Lysol wipes and air freshener from my car to deal with the dirty smell lingering in the room. After swimming, we were ready to take a shower, but that’s when I noticed the bathroom was filthy. Worse still, the previous guest’s dirty, disgusting towels were still there! I immediately went to the front desk to inform Elaine that the room had clearly not been cleaned and that we needed to move. She had the nerve to tell me they were at full capacity, housekeeping had gone home, but she could remove the dirty towels. I said, “NO MA’AM,” because if the room’s cleanliness was already in question, we certainly weren’t going to sleep on those sheets. I asked for a refund, as we were ready to leave. She then told me she couldn’t process a refund without contacting her manager. After coming back later, she was busy stocking drinks with no concern for the situation. She mentioned I would be getting a refund, but as of now, my card still hasn’t been credited back. I will be contacting the manager and escalating this issue until my refund is issued. Her response to my frustration was, "Oh, mistakes happen. I only saw that the bed was made." I told her it wasn’t just about the bed—it was the way she handled everything. There was no offer to clean the room or any attempt to make things right. Instead, I was made to feel like I wasn’t welcome there. I’d like to believe it was just her poor attitude and not reflective of the hotel itself, but the whole experience left a terrible impression. I had to scramble to find another hotel with clean rooms. We won’t be returning, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend anyone staying here with the uncertainty of whether the rooms are clean.

Very comfortable and friendly. We ended up staying 2 extra nights and they kept us in the same room. They were also pet friendly and would greet us and are kitten every time we entered the hotel. Definitely a great experience all around! Looking forward to staying again :)
