Hampton Inn & Suites Chattanooga Hamilton Place

Spring break with family included three grands 11, 9 and 5. The rooms were good, clean and the indoor pool provided a lot of entertainment. The entire hotel is well maintained and the breakfast bar offered a lot of options. Laundry was available and a nice weight room. The entire family enjoyed our visit. Location was nice. Away from downtown but close enough to be anywhere in a few minutes.

We stopped here for 1 night on our drive down from Chicago to Boca Raton Florida. Hotel was very clean, shower was hot, king bed was comfortable (room 402) and dogs are allowed. Hotel is located very close to 75 - very convenient. Breakfast was fine.

My family stayed here while passing through for the holidays, and we were very pleased. The hotel is in a quiet, safe location. The lobby, pool, and other common areas are clean. Our rooms were clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and was warm and welcoming on arrival. We’d definitely stay here again.

Hampton Inn & Suites Chattanooga/Hamilton Place Chattanooga Rude Front Desk Guy. Wanted to change us to another sister hotel - NOT 976745781 The people were very rude, when we checked in. I had made my reservations 2 1/2 weeks ahead of time. I also called two days before to confirm my reservation and a girl even gave me a room number, but four hours before we were supposed to check in a girl called and TOLD me that they were moving me to a different sister hotel because they had overbooked. I said, NO you’re not. She said yes we are. I said, NO, you’re not, because I research my hotels to see if they have bugs or if it’s in a safe area or whatever and I already research y’all so you’re not changing me and I already have my room number. So since I made a big commotion about that, she said well OK, we will check on somebody else to change them to a sister hotel . When we got the hotel, the young guy that was at the desk acted like he really didn’t want to be there and didn’t need to be there and was very rude. He had his earbuds in his ear and I don’t know if he had to use the bathroom or he was dancing to the music , but he really didn’t want to wait on us and then he finally did and he wasn’t very nice about it. He was like that to other people too. When I went back to get some more towels he told me to wait because he was standing there while a Contractor was logging his names on a little piece of paper for each key, which was about 10 keys/rooms. And the young guy said, I’m the only one here so you have to wait. There was another man there trying to get a pillow and some sheets for his pullout couch for his stepson because they didn’t have any and the young guy said we don’t have anymore and they had a king size bed so his stepson had to sleep on the couch with no sheets or pillow . I needed some toilet paper because they only gave us an half empty roll and part of another one, so I had some in my car because I knew I wasn’t gonna have to bother that young guy because he didn’t want to be bothered. We saw someone check in and got a room that same night so if they were overbooked, how come she wanted to change my room to a sister hotel. I even said I could have a double bed instead of a king and she said well we don’t have any, but I’ll keep your room the way it is , but I guess since she could get more money from the contractors than you can from a senior citizen, that is why they wanted to push me to a sister hotel, which I don’t even know where that was. Next morning, a man said that when he got to the hotel that night, the young guy told him, we don’t have a reservation for you and he said well I made one and the young guy said well we don’t have one and he was real rude about it. Same young guy, so the man said well I’m here so the guy gave him two double beds and charged him $100.00 more than what he was supposed to be charge. So if they gave that man two beds in it, how could they be overbooked. But I told the lady what happened the night before when we checked out and she made it right. But I’ll never stay there again and if the young guy does not like his job, maybe he needs to get another job or maybe they could put him in the laundry room because he’s not a peoples person. The lady at the front desk in the morning said yeah, we had a lot of complaints about him, but we need to talk to him AGAIN! I said, AGAIN!! And the room wasn’t very clean either and we didn’t check into 6:00 pm. when we got there, they had just finished cleaning the rooms. So I’m glad I didn’t get there too early. NEVER AGAIN!! Go to a Fairfield Inn, if you can find a decent one. Most of the hotels are getting bad. They do not want to clean your room, but they are charging high dollars for your room. Stay at the Fairfield Inn in Athens, TN. It was pretty nice. Stay somewhere else. Rude front desk at night. Had car break-ins a few months ago. Said they have Security now, but we never saw any Security

Room was clean, bed was comfy after a longggg drive, pillows need more cushion but everything else was great!!!! Breakfast was yummy Waffle maker with fixings and toppings Eggs two ways, potatoes and sausage too Oatmeal, yogurt, scones, breads and so much more. Fruit bowls, coffees, and various teas. Great way to start your day!!! Victoria was so sweet, helpful, and nice! She made sure the waffle maker was sprayed to prevent sticking and cleared all the tables!
