Hampton Inn Chattanooga East Ridge

This a very nice hotel right off of I75. Lots of different restaurants within a few minutes walk and a Starbucks. It’s a newer hotel. Very clean. Excellent breakfast; very fresh. Service is great. Highly recommend it as a stopover traveling on I75.

The hotel was nice enough. Sort of standard Hampton Inn facilities. The staff made all the difference. Rico on the front desk is a gem. He ran upstairs to make sure our room was ready before we lugged all our stuff up there. Super nice and helpful. Others were friendly and helpful too.

We traveled to Chattanooga from Nashville for the new Cigar International Grand Opening. We had a reservation at another hotel and it was a disappointment. We came to see where Cigar International was located and saw the Home 2 Suites, they quoted their price of $182 a night. We knew we had Hilton Honors, so we decided to try the Hampton Inn. It was late at night, after 10:30 p.m. I went in the restroom and prayed with my mom for favor because my husband had really had a hard month and is suffering with unexplained blindness. He planned this trip to relax and get away, but our first hotel was not a paradise at all. Sherrie was eager to help and extremely empathetic. She told us about the points my mom had and helped us to buy additional points in the HiltonHonors app. She even gave me some Lorna Donn cookies and a teddy bear for my little 19 month-old who was tired from the drive. She patiently helped us with the points and the reservation. We cannot praise God for her enough! Thank you so much and the Hilton Honors program for the relief at the end of the road.

We stay at this Hampton location regularly when we travel from Michigan to Florida several times a year. The staff is welcoming, breakfast is good with attentive service, and the beds are comfortable for us. (The comfy beds are the main reason we always stay at a Hampton). Two thumbs up!

Had to wait for several minutes before anyone came out to the reservation desk. I think her name was Sable. Poor attitude, took me to task because of where I HAD been standing before I sat down. Lectured me about standing too close I guess to the previous customer, she thought me and that person were together which was her assumption. I did not invade anyone's space. She and a co- worker got into it about the computers, co-worker stalked off, she didn't like my ID and husband's debit card: i kinda get that one. She made me go out and get him. Then she didn't like that I left my card on the counter so she made me take them away. My husband was right outside the door in our car. My husband came in and suddenly she turned nice. Clearly I was in hotel jail with all my violations.
