District 3 Hotel Ascend Hotel Collection

Everything was great but i do have 3 small complaints No microwave in the room like i had last time no coffee maker but a keurig would've been awesome, im kinda bummed about no continental breakfast because of the renovations. But other than that the stay went well!!

Newly renovated rooms with new furniture, carpet, comfortable beds and plenty of pillow options. Really liked the hooks in the entry area as well as USB and wireless charging stations in the room. The staff was friendly and attentive. Close to restaurants and attractions in the downtown area.

The hotel was under renovation, which we were not aware of when booking. Due to renovation breakfast was not included which would have been nice to know. I recommend adding more mirrors to the room when remodeling. The only one they had was the bathroom mirror and it was difficult for everyone to get ready at once. Under the pullout sofa there was a lot of dirt and trash, even someone’s fake nails.

Room was nice & clean. Bathroom walls had some spots on them, but was basically clean. Lots of construction going on, so there was equipment/supplies everywhere. During the day you could hear banging & sawing, & would get letters saying they were cutting water off for about an hour to do work. Also, no hot breakfast ...i got there & was told breakfast changed to a sack (piece of fruit, fruit cup, water, & a granola bar..& when I went to get one, they were already gone. I had to stay through the week cause my mom is in the hospital here. I will try to book here again if I have to & hope I can get a good deal on the room again & the construction will be done.

Advertised free breakfast. They were remodeling and no free breakfast. I booked over a month before and no mention of this. I was going to talk to the manager before leaving but he was telling and employee employee to clock out and leave and she was yelling that she didn’t have to listen to him. Stayed on the second floor, construction noise up until 6pm on the 3rd floor. Not a good experience at all.
