Well first off the Hotel is nice with a convenient location. The staff is friendly and accommodating, with the Rooftop restaurant a real plus. The room was nice (the carpet was a bit dingy/stained) and otherwise well-maintained. Now for the bad, the view from my 5th-floor room was horrific! A large pigeon colony has taken up residence with poo and feathers everywhere including the windows ugh)! I hope the AC unit was not drawing fresh (LOL) air from the outside! The main rooftop AC units for the hotel are covered with pigeon excrement, it can best be imagined as something out of a low-budget horror movie. When booking make sure to ask for a room facing 6th Street so as not to have the pigeon S-show as part of your stay.

Nice hotel, rustic, classic western. Very unique. Comfortable rooms, but a bit small. Great location. Close to many restaurants. Staff was very attentive and helped wherever they could. Great history , and they say it is haunted! Not sure about that.

This is a beautiful hotel, historic, with great service. The staff was particularly helpful! Great food and fun also. An Irish pub and grill on the first floor, and an exceptional restaurant on the 10th, rooftop floor. I had a fantastic experience here!

Hotel is centrally located to downtown shops, etc. has a Starbucks in the hotel. It is an older hotel meaning the rooms are very small but are adequate. Room only had one luggage rack, but we realize there was no room to open a second one. Walk in shower, which look like it had been recently renovated. We were on a bus tour and had dinner in one of the banquet rooms – Food tasteless, cold. Probably cannot blame this on the hotel, tour was with. Our State Magazine - Trafalgar Tours and this was par for course on this tour. Recommend avoiding any tour coordinated via. Our State Magazine and or Trafalgar Tours.

We had a great time at this hotel. It is in a wonderful location. We walked around saw all President Statues, several restaurants and bars close by. We did love their roof top bar too. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, large and comfortable. They have a cute shop and Irish bar connected to facility. Make sure you do their historic tour at the hotel, very interesting.
