Wow! All I can say is every BW+ should use this as a business model, from the time we checked in, Serenity was professional, courteous, and thoughtful about all the information she gave us about our stay. She even asked us about our pet. This hotel is modern, clean, spacious, quiet and the green area for pets has been kept up. Our pet, loved that. It is surrounded by restaurants and Mount Rushmore is only about 45 minutes away. The breakfast was a super nice spread, way more than a continental. Thanks again for making us feel welcomed and for a great night sleep.

This is not a review I wanted to write about Rapid City's top-rated hotel, but after filling out a post-stay survey and getting a form response from the "general manager" I had no choice. While there was nothing wrong with the decor or cleanliness, unfortunately this was a terrible experience. There's absolutely no soundproofing in this hotel at all. If you face the front towards the parking lot, you'll get tons of traffic noise from the major intersection at the end of the street. And if you are unlucky like me, you'll find out the rooms have zero soundproofing on the interior - you can hear TV noise, talking, etc quite clearly from your neighbor. I was woken up by a rude neighbor blaring the TV at 1 a.m.. Called the front desk and lady said she'd shut it down, and she did come up quickly. It got only a little better before they were at it again so I called down once more and asked to be moved - to a room facing the back of the hotel. While the lady was helpful, she didn't know anything about the hotel's layout, and insisted the new room she offered was facing the back when I knew it clearly was not. She kept saying they didn't have my bed type available and stated clearly I was happy to move to something different. In the morning, I voice my concerns to what appeared to be a manager at the front desk and again asked to be moved to a rear-facing room, but she gave me the same "we don't have your bed type available" statement and was just as overly dismissive as she could be. It sure sounded like these people wanted me to pay them money on the side to switch to a different room type, even when I kept saying I was happy to move to a queen room vs a king room. Exhausted from no sleep from the dreadful night, I booked a room at another Rapid City hotel so I ended up needlessly paying for two hotels for the same night. The Hampton Inn was FAR better than this noisy place in every aspect. If you are a light sleeper, avoid this Best Western at all costs unless you can guarantee you get a room facing the back of the hotel or you'll be throwing your money away here like I did.

Booked last minute on a road trip. Saturday night stay. We arrive late and leave early so I canāt speak on pool, fitness room etc. Reviewing room 429. Room well stocked. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast is the typical continental fare. Easy on/off highway. Stores/restaurants nearby. In room flier for food delivery. Great choice. Recommend.

Not crazy about the pillows, too hard for me, but I loved the room. The shower was amazingly hot. The black out curtains weren't great, but they were ok. My hubby needs it totally dark to sleep. After the first night of not getting enough sleep, he was sleeping just out of exhaustion from the trip and activities. I also don' appreciate that the fridge wasn't keeping the left overs edible. I got sick on the first evening's food, on the 2nd night when i ate some of it before bed. It tasted good, smelled ok, so i ate some, and then threw up that night. I give this place a 5* because I totally enjoyed the warm, inviting room, the shower temperature and water pressure & fairly quiet stay. The positive items for this place outweighed the negative items. I would highly recommend. But if you do stay there and there isn't something working right (fridge) or something isn't quite the way you want it to be, please tell the front desk. They were so wonderful at this place. Oh and Breakfast. Wow, that was a plus & so welcoming. When I visit again, I will definitely want to stay here again. Our trip was so short, Fri to Monday - 3 nights. If we were staying longer than 3 nights, I would have told the front desk about the fridge. No other complaints that the front desk can take care of. The pillow is because I'm not used to it. Happens no matter where we stay. The other thing I noticed, and this isn't a negative thing, there was no safe in the room. Highly recommended!

The facility is gorgeous, the staff friendly and helpful. They have a very nice breakfast layout. But the beds are hard as a rock, like sleeping on the floor. I like a firm bed but these go way beyond being firm. Asked for more pillows to sleep on and slept for a max of 2 hours.
