DoubleTree by Hilton Deadwood at Cadillac Jack's

Stayed one night for a 2-day conference. Exceptionally clean and spacious room. Well lit bathroom with lighted makeup mirror & good water pressure in the shower. Second floor rooms are right above the casino, but the soundproofing is excellent. Very quiet room. The only negatives are that the room itself lacks adequate lighting and parking is limited by ongoing construction in the garage and on the lot.

After Visiting devils tower earlier in the day we decided to travel back to South Dakota and landed in the Historic Deadwood for the night. Guylas the front desk supervisor checked us in for the night, and was very accommodating with the things we were missing. We did not expect to stay at a hotel that night so we only had the clothes on our back. The warm cookies and water at check-in are a nice touch that I have come to love from the Doubletree brand.

Stayed at the Doubletree inside Cadillac Jacks for one night and really enjoyed it. Check in was easy. The room was spacious with lots of plug-ins for electronic items and lots of places to place our luggage. Bed was very comfortable with nice quality sheets and bathroom was great with large sink area and lots of towels. Walked downstairs to FLYT steakhouse for dinner and it was really good, not too expensive but filets were cooked perfectly. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend.

What a nice surprise. I am a Diamond Level Hilton Member and the upgraded us to a suite. The accommodations were exception. There a probably apartments that are smaller than this suite. The Decor was outstanding and very clean. The personnel at the front desk were beyond nice and helpful and helped us plan our outings. This is definitely a hotel that we recommend to everyone going to Deadwood.

Located inside a casino complex, this is not one of the best Doubletrees I’ve seen. But it’s at the end of the long walk through old town Deadwood and it’s relatively clean. Reception was very friendly, particularly Chuck, the manager. He also gave us an excellent recommendation for Italian dinner in Rapid City. Overpriced, as all Doubletrees, but good base point if yo want to see Custer State Park, Roughlock Falls, Custer, Mount Rushmore, Minutemen Silo, Saloon No. 10 and the Black Hills. Custer was a very cute old town decorated with life size bison all over. **
