Tru by Hilton Charleston Airport

I loved this hotel the moment I walked in. All the fun colored, differently shaped and comfortable furniture and nooks provide a welcomed experience. The lobby also features a pool table and some board games. Sadly, past visitors have not taken care of the games and hardly any are fully intact. The indoor pool is on the first floor, as is the gym. These amenities are sure to satisfy all family members. Our room was a good size for 3 people with two large suitcases. It could be described as a bit bare bones, with the exterior closet space, decorative wall hooks and open-style furniture, but it's evident that these are the clean lines the designers were going for. There is a mini fridge in the room, but not a microwave. There's microwave, for guests' use in the lobby. We had take out dinner in the lobby the first night and the large tables made our meal feel more comfortable than if we'd had eaten in a restaurant. This hotel is about 20 minutes outside of downtown Charleston. It was perfect for us and included free parking. If we ever visit Charleston again we would definitely stay at this Tru by Hilton.

We recently stayed at the Tru by Hilton airport in Charleston. We traveled with multiple families for a team competition. The room was not stocked with towels or toiletries to include tissues and toilet paper when we arrived. Nick was working and checked in with us right away and quickly re stocked the room with supplies, and continued to check in with us daily to make sure we had everything we needed. Housekeeping never came to the room and the only time we got any new towels was when Nick checked to see if we needed anything. Nick went out of his way everyday to assist with whatever we needed. He was always so helpful and pleasant.

Very convenient for business travel. Customer Service was great. Great local Beer selection in the lobby. Lots of food and drink options nearby, the guy at the desk gave me a bunch suggestions. All in all, not a whole lot of bells and whistles at this hotel but everything I needed.

Stayed here on our way to Hilton Head and absolutely loved it! I loved how modern the amenities and rooms were. The bends were super comfy and the customer service was outstanding! The complimentary breakfast exceeded my expectations. They had multiple meat and egg options which is something I wasn’t expecting. I will definitely be staying here again!!!

WE have stayed in a lot of Hilton properties this stay was terrible the rollup shade in the room was broken it would not stay up, the shelve in the shower was broken, only one towel in the bathroom .The water pressure was low on Saturday they said sand was the cause from construction nearby we woke up Sunday morning to no water at all they said a pipe broke would be fixed by 9 AM it still wasn't on at 11AM we left at 6:30AM but our friends were stuck there waiting for a flight out. Don't park behind the Hotle the room keys won't open the door to get back in.I did feel sorry for the staff at the front desk they were nice I think this hotel has a Managment problem.
