The Sandbar Hotel Trademark Collection by Wyndham

Stayed twice at this hotel. Ok stay. No bugs is a plus. Could use a little maintenance and cleaned better. The tube drain was not repaired properly and the floors could use more cleaning. I should of payed a little more to stay on the resort side of the street.

The room was very comfortable and had a great ocean view. The beach was beautiful and so easy to access. The service staff took good care of us, too. We arrived after the snowstorm that that made things difficult in the area, but the entryway areas had been cleared and salted so we were able to get to our room safely.

Not what I had hoped for. The hotel was across the street from the beach and you had to cross the road to get to the pool. The hotel was out of the way, about two miles from the attraction area and nothing really within walking distance. The room was small and cramped.

Roaches! We had dead roaches and live ones running around. This place is run down and dirty. The parking is tight on the front and for small cars only. Showers don't work at the indoor pool across the street. Definitely not the Wyndham experience we expected.

Mold and mildew in room. Very run down and in need of renovation/repairs. Property is dingy, old and uncared for. Parking lot is a most likely a crime scene most days. Motel staff is marginal, less when they are outside smoking. If you have family and are "normal" you will want to look elsewhere. The pictures the hotel provides are either really old or enhanced heavily. This was one of the most unsafe feeling motels I have ever encountered, I have stayed on the south side of Atlanta and felt much more secure. You have been warned.
