The Beach Club at Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina

The resort was pretty but it was a little cool for us to be able to enjoy the pools. the shuttle was very convenient to downtown but wasn't running one day of our 3 night stay. The hotel did comp us the resort fee for that day to make up for it. The firepits at night would have been a nice place for an after dinner drink but were filled with underage students from the College of Charleston, all underage and being served. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathrooms could use some shelving and better water pressure.

Fine but not great. From start, no valet attendant (which was fine for us because there was plenty of parking up front) however, it states there is valet. Not a single employee outside. Saw 1 employee and that was the check in desk. Never greeted as most resorts do. We had a premium room, harbor views. Good size room. Stains on furniture and walls. Bathroom walls had brown stains. Shower had mold and scum build up. Large soaking tub we decided not to use due to subpar cleaning. Carpet in hallways needed to be vacuumed. We were woken our first morning to the neighbor’s alarm going off at 620am (very thin walls)…his alarm went off for a solid hour, no joke. We called front desk as well as other guests on our floor. Staff took an hour, a full hour, to finally resolve the issue by basically busting the door down to make sure the person was alive. Everyone on the floor was upset because they had to hear the alarm for a solid hour before hotel did anything to fix the problem. Pool deck is the redeeming factor, large with a great pool and plenty of seating. Great views and pool bar for those who drink. Location is great and is a stop for the water taxi which is very convenient. Not a bad place just could use more staff and attention to cleaning.

The Beach Club at Patriots Points is a great place to relax. Dinner and a small store make the stay even more relaxing since there no travel or hunting these in the area. With plenty of outdoor space to explore you get the feeling you are away from hustle & bustle of the surrounding tourist areas. Even though the USS Yorktown Museum is next door, the activities there does not feel as close as it actually is. Our room overlooking the Cooper River was wonderful as we relaxed on the room's balcony. We would have liked to stay longer.

Very nice stay. The hotel and room were as expected. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and responsive throughout our stay. No issues at check in or check out. The heated pool was great for our 7 yr old. The Fish Room restaurant had good food at a fair price. Very nice views from the 4th floor family parlor room. I would bring my family back here again!

By far the best resort option when staying in Charleston. Beautiful resort, excellent views, and good food. Resort is right next to the water taxi to be able to take a boat over to Charleston. 10/10 would recommend especially for couples. Fish house is great for breakfast with a view of the USS Yorktown.
