Embassy Suites by Hilton Charleston Harbor Mt. Pleasant

Convenient located hotel in an an up and coming area. If you stay here, I recommend you have a car to explore the area and beaches as well as going to Charleston city. What I did find frustrating was the added expense to park in their garage. Although the garage is attached to the hotel , we found it somewhat inconvenient to park take an elevator to the first floor of the garage, enter the hotel then take another elevator up to our room. It’s not a deal breaker but something to consider. The breakfast was very good with a friendly and accommodating staff. The managers reception in the evenings was also nice with fruit, chips and cheese. The hotel lobby is very pretty. The only other drawback which I see is now the usual in many newer hotels, is that you cannot open the windows in your room. Our room smelled like kitty litter when we walked in each day. Not sure if it’s the cleaning products and would have been nice to get fresh air. We did not use the pool, but used the fitness room which had updated treadmills and ellipticals.

Beautiful hotel with beautiful sunset views! Complimentary breakfast has so many choices and plenty of seating. The lobby area is vast and a great meeting place for the whole family. The suite style rooms make you feel more like home. The area has a lot to offer!
