Spark By Hilton Hilton Head Island

This is a simple hotel. It's clean, safe and remodeled sometime recently. The staff is very nice, and met any need we had. The breakfast is just simple cold breakfast. If you are looking for luxury, this might not be the place. But if you are looking for a good location, close to the beach where you can enjoy your time, this is perfectly fine!

The pillows are the fluffiest I’ve ever felt! We loved the front desk staff and slept amazing in the comfy rooms. Not to mention how close we were to the beach. The weather was so nice and we made it to the beach every day. Can’t wait to go back soon !!!

On our way home, we stopped at a Sparks by Hilton Inn, Bluffton, South Carolina wonderful reception. Very nice atmosphere almost European. our room was extremely clean, rather Spartan, but very well appointed abundant tiles soap, lotion, tissues, and toilet paper. The mattress was extremely comfortable and an abundance of pillows that were very comfortable!! Great layout for bed, chairs, TV and closet. Space. European design reminded me of our stay in Portugal and Spain! I highly recommend staying at this hotel

The room was okay for the most part. The atmosphere was kind if sketchy. You drive back toward the hotel seeing all of these nice places and then you realize you are in the "motel" behind them all. The check in staff had a weird attitude but the guy helping with bags when we left was nice. The breakfast offered is pretty good also. The elevator creaks like it's going to break and our room door had a gap so you were able to see the sunlight thru the door. The shower had mold in it also. The lamps by the window and on the desk didn't work at all. I wouldn't recommend it.. the only really good thing was that we were 1 mile from the beach.

When planning our youngest's move into her USCB dorm, my husband and I decided to spend a couple of extra days on the island. We were attracted to this location due to its proximity to the beach. Given how new this property is to the Hilton family, I was a little nervous, but it was exactly what we needed! The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. A family of four could easily be comfortable here. It was very clean and fresh too. The room comes with only the bare necessities including a fridge and an ice bucket. There is no in room coffee maker or microwave, but both are available in the lobby. While it's not your traditional Hilton breakfast, we really loved the bagel bar with all the toppings, plus coffee and yogurt. The hotel was a lot quieter than we expected too given that the rooms open to the exterior. The best part was the short, three-block walk to a residential beach access walkway. (I was afraid we'd have to walk all the way to Coligny Beach Park - that wasn't the case.) It was only a ten minute walk back to our room from our setup on the beach. Our only plans for this empty nest getaway was the beach, so we didn't make use of the pool area, but it looked very nice. I would definitely stay here again!
