Hampton Inn Greenville I 385 Woodruff Rd.

Booked a suite, early arrival, for three days. Tried to check in, but couldn't do early arrival online. Kennedy walked me through the process and was a ray of sunshine on a day that was pretty much a disaster. When I did get there, 5 hours later, Piper made me feel at home and couldn't have been sweeter. Room was fine, amenities were good, but the service was exceptional!

Wow what an excellent place to stay. The front desk lady named Eden was so helpful and really knows her job. She made us feel at home and what a pleasure she is to talk too. Thank you for hiring people like her. Also when checking out we talked to Roberto another great person. Really a great place to stay.

Almost 2025 ! TERRIBLE MANAGMENT!!!!! I'm a local!!!! I have been a Hilton Honors diamomd member for almost 2 decades. i live off of woodruff road. i refuse to let any of my people, friends , or family ever stay here again. THE MANAGMENT IS awful and disrepectful and liars!.

Smoker’s Paradise. If you like to light one up, this is the hotel for you. As soon as we entered the first set of doors, the waiting room reeked of cigarette smoke. This was not coming from the outside which did not smell of smoke. No, someone was smoking in the waiting room in full view of the front desk. Through the second set of doors, into the lobby, uneventful check-in. When we got off the elevator onto the fifth floor, the entire corridor reeked of cigarette smoke. We gave it a go and and tried our room, began to unpack but the smell also made its way into the room. Repack, down to the front desk, new room on the second floor, corridor also smelled of cigarette, entered the room and noticed an unpleasant body odor smell. Room had no clock. Small food particle stuck to the desk chair. Debris on the carpet near the night stand. I very rarely write bad reviews, but this hotel suffers from poor management and poor cleaning. We cancelled our second night.

When I walked into this hotel, I became depressed. It was old, drab and beige. And there was a floor to ceiling tarp up one wall. But we were far too tired from traveling to look for another hotel that night, so we booked a room. The hotel's phone didn't work which meant we couldn't call the front desk (even from our cell phones), the internet didn't work, and the room was really dark. We had hoped to sleep in but drilling started before 8:30. Also, each room in the hotel is pet friendly, so we felt a bit unclean. This is the last straw for me when it comes to Hampton Inns. They are just too outdated and can't compete with newer brands.
