I had a great experience at this place, I visit many times for work and never have had an issue. Perfect worked very hard to solve any problems that arose. Great outdoor seating area around the fireplace and great breakfast served hot in the morning.

Visiting for the holidays on the way to Florida, Room was huge and clean. Breakfast was plentiful a little crowded but i expected more with the holiday. i also like the 24 hour snack shop a bit pricey but within hotel price range. i would stay here again in an heartbeat. 💓

The experience so far not bad. However I just watched the front desk clerk argue with a the delivery driver delivering someone’s food because the driver left the food at the front desk. Usually there are instructions from the diner or from the platform which comes from the owner of the corporation or business with specific delivery instructions or from both. It may say leave at front desk or in lobby. It may also say leave at front desk of the “business name” ie: Hampton Inn Hotel Southeast/Ft Jackson. Which is what the driver was telling the clerk & the hotel manager the clerk called on the phone. Then she jumped up saying the driver was yelling at her when she was the one doing all the yelling. It doesn’t matter what the manger says the driver goes by the notes in the platform. Sometimes things happen during deliveries that prompt platforms to add specific delivery notes for certain locations as well and sometimes it’s for the safety of the drivers. So the clerk and her manager were dead wrong. The driver’s ultimate goal was to service the customer who is insanely Hampton Inn’s customer also. Who apparently had notes to leave the delivery in the lobby at the front desk. Crazy!

I read some of the reviews and think I must have been in a different hotel. Pet friendly- I knew this going in but why doesn't hotel owners/managers dedicate one floor for NON PET FRIENDLY? The pet odors were all over the hotel. Room Door - the door had to be pushed open with my shoulder due to rubbing on the frame. Bed Pillows - flattest, most worn pillows I ever experienced in a hotel. Room noise - dogs barking, traffic noise will disturb your sleep. Shower and sink - extremely low water pressure. The staff was nice - thus a 2 star rating. Never again.

In my short stay of 2 nights at this hotel I had a really good time which was credited towards the staff. Kendra was an absolute diamond when welcoming me in on my first night. she has great energy and was awesome. I was so fortunate to meet braxton who is an awesome guy. we had great conversations and he really made me feel at home whilst staying. he was a really positive lad and it was a pleasure to meet him. one last shout out to miss Williams, every morning she welcomed me to breakfast with her beautiful smile. she is a lovely lady who went above and beyond to make sure I was always okay. thank you guys for making my trip to America welcoming, from your English friend George lots of love
