These reviews HAVE to be fake. This place is gross and scary. The guy at the front desk was good and the sheets seemed clean and I was trying to save money for one night. Otherwise I would have left. But everything else was terrible. There was a squashed dead bug on the wall that no one bothered to clean up and a live baby cockroach on the wall in the bathroom. There were noises and yelling all night in and outside the hotel. The walls are very thin. We should have known when we pulled in the parking lot and there was a spot by the lobby with a sign that says its reserved for police.

We stayed at the Rivers Ave location in Charleston SC. We were immediately greeted by Deontre the manager over maintenance. He was very professional kind and extremely helpful. I initially had some concerns but Deontre addressed them immediately and made me feel right at home. We came for business and will return again as long as Deontre and folks like him are still in management. If u need to be comfortable and feel safe, this is the place to be.

The staff are very polite, and very helpful. Great hotel for long stays . Like staying with family, The laundry is convenient and the property is very clean. The staff ask how we are doing every day and ash how our rooms are every time we see them

This hotel has a small lobby for checking, room has a small kitchenette, small bathroom Room is comfortable No housekeeing service if your staying seven days or under. Free wifi Close proximity to shopping mall, walmart, dollar store etc.

The stay started off bad when I called to confirm my reservation made through Booking.com as I was on the way to the hotel. The clerk, who I couldn't hear because of the volume on her phone, had a terrible attitude as she told me that I didn't have a reservation. I had Booking.com cancel that reservation and remade the reservation through the clerk over the phone. As I was pulling up to the hotel, there were multiple homeless people sitting out on the sidewalk around the hotel and in the parking lot. For first impressions, this place looked like a place that rented by the hour. When I got to the window to check in, I quickly realized that this was the same person that I was talking to earlier. She barely spoke with any volume and still had a terrible attitude. As we were walking down the hall to our room, the smell made us worry about how our room was going to be. As we opened the door, we were greeted with a worse smell coming from the room. It smelled very musty and unclean. There were dead bugs, dirt, and grime all over the place. The bathroom was even worse! I refused to even walk on the floor without shoes on. We were woken up at 2:20am by noise of people stomping on the floor in the room above us. It sounded like people were jumping off the bed and running to the door and back to the bed again. At one point it sounded like a cooler of ice hit the floor and then poured out. This went on until about 5am, which didn’t give us much rest before our 6am alarm went off. When I went to check out at 6:30am, there was no one at the front desk. This is an “extended stay” hotel, but there are no pots, pans, silverware, etc in the room. They will only give you 2 sets of towels per room as well. Hostels are more accommodating than this hotel. I’ve stayed in some crap hotels, but this one is by far the worst. I can honestly say that I will sleep in the car before staying in a Woodspring Suites again.
