Tru by Hilton Beaufort SC

Great experience! We were tired from some medical experiences in Charleston and went near Beaufort for photography … nice clean efficient hotel and employees all shifts who greeted and created you w the atmosphere they tried to project… friendly welcoming clean and meet your needs!

- Stayed for 12 days, the floor right by the window and beside the bed were dirty and sticky when I check in. -Gone for two days - left on Friday and came back on Sunday night ONLY to come back to the BED that wasn’t even MADE and dirty bathroom.. they only TOOK trash out and changed towels.. Very UNSAT… - the bed linens was only changed one time after the 8th DAY of my stay and after i complained about it. - lastly, got locked out of my room for almost two hours due to DEAD door batteries. Had to wait for the maintenance rep to come in and caused me to be LATE for work. Overall experience is very UNSAT and I would not recommend this TRU by Hilton Beaufort. I stayed with other HILTON before and always had good experience but NOT in Beaufort SC,

We stayed at this property to attend the Parris Island Marine Graduation and I am going to be brutally honest in this review by saying I regret staying at this property. When our group first booked this property, we were met with issues, and I should have taken that as a sign that we should've probably booked with another hotel. For the positives, this hotel is about 15 mins from Parris Island Mcrd which was convenient, and there is a sub restaurant right next door if you dont want to drive. Now for the negatives, we got to our room as a late arrival and discovered our room had not really been cleaned,the room was small, the wall thermostat didn't work, the lamps were rusted and the rooms do not have carpet and the floors were sticky like they haven't been mopped, the refrigerator had not been cleaned because it had what looked like spilled soda in it and food left from the previous guest. Although the room was not really clean we was tired from our trip and decided to go to bed. The walls are paper thin because we got woke up about 2:00 am by very loud Xrated noises coming from the guests in the room next door, and these noises went on until about 4:30 am. I realize it is hotel and guests make noises but the walls should not be so thin that you can actually hear what other people are saying or doing in their rooms. The next morning, I went to the front desk to let them know that our room had not been cleaned and to complain about the noise from the guests next to us and the front desk clerk just said she was sorry about the noise and told us she would get housekeeping to clean our room but housekeeping never came. I have been a hilton honors member for a long time so when I travel I always stay at a hilton brand hotel, and this was my first time at Tru and to be honest, it will probably be my last time because I was disappointed.

Had the pleasure of staying at the new Tru by Hilton hotel. It was a great experience. Clean, modern, friendly and welcoming staff plus a well thought out design. No frills (except fridge) in the rooms with amenities centralized in the main area. I’m there to sleep and get ready for the next day - Hilton gets it! I plan on traveling more and Tru by Hilton is my new ‘go to’ place to stay.

The front desk staff was excellent! After 2 very bad experiences in a row at other hotels, it was nice to be treated with a smile and someone who cares. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was delicious! Coffee was almost better then Starbucks
