Carriage House Inn

My friends and I stayed at the Idaho Lodge when we cycled the Selkirk Loop a couple of weeks ago. BEST CHOICE of accommodations! Ten cyclists arrived wet and bedraggled after a day of riding in the rain, and the owner personally helped unload all our gear from the van. He offered refreshments to the riders and called a local restaurant within walking distance to make sure they were open for dinner and had space for us. He even allowed us to leave our bicycles in the lobby overnight. The manager also went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. What a great team. We've never experienced such a welcome!

This place appears recently remodeled and has a full kitchen with fridge and freezer. There's cereal, yogurt, granola bars, and fresh fruit for breakfast. No hot chocolate, no decaf coffee, but Safeway and Starbucks are just across the street. The room was clean, quiet, and pleasant. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very affordable.

Room was very clean and owners very accommodating since i was on my motorcycle they let me park under neath the check in area. Was lucky to even get a room as most were booked up. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. Grocery store right across the street with a coffee shop in side.

The hotel was very nice. It had a rustic feel and had been renovated fairly recently. The only issue we had was poor wifi in our room. The front desk recommended the Two tones restaurant nearby, would highly reccomend it.

I have stayed at the Carriage House RV park and hotel on a few occasions. I have a 36 foot trailer and I have had no issues getting in and out of the park. The Wifi and Cable in the park are great. They have a great green space for guests and a pet area. There are 2 bathrooms located in the RV park that are a great size. They have just renovated half of the building inside and it looks amazing. I have stayed in the rooms before and they were very dated. These new rooms mirror the lodge theme of the outside of the building. The rooms have A/C, mini fridges, and microwaves. The lobby has coffee and tea. In the morning they have fresh fruit available as well as other items. The room rate was better then the Casino and I was very surprised how nice the new rooms are. I am very pleased with the RV park and rooms. I know when we are traveling though Bonners Ferry we will always have a nice affordable place to stay even if we are pulling our trailer.
