I went with my boys for a trip to the Riverbanks Zoo which was a short 12min drive. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The indoor pool was heated! The room was clean and spacious! All restaurants including an ice cream shop are in walking distance.

We were at the Masters Golf Tournament and chose to stay at the Hyatt Place Columbia/Downtown. Unfortunately, it turned into a major disappointment. My flight into Columbia was delayed, and when I arrived at the hotel around 9 PM, I was toldâwithout apologyâthat my reservation had been canceled due to overbooking. It was clear this was because of the Masters, with patrons driving in from Columbia to Augusta. The front desk staff was rude and dismissive. They casually informed me that I had been rebooked at another Hyatt Placeâ20 minutes away, in an older, run-down location. It felt like a bait-and-switch. As a loyal Hyatt member, I expected better. It seems they overbook the preferred downtown location and shift guests to a less desirable property, banking on the fact that people will be too tired or stuck to argue. I will not be staying at another Hyatt again. If youâre planning to stay in downtown Columbia, be warnedâbooking at this location doesnât guarantee youâll actually get to stay there.

It's a great hotel and super convenient to restaurants and parks. The beds were comfy, the pool and breakfast was nice and the staff was very helpful. It was my second time here and my last experience was great as well. I would definitely recommend.

First Hyatt stay and we were very pleased. Visiting our daughter who is a USC Student. Front desk staff were friendly and efficient. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Great location for walking to many great restaurants near by. Will definitely stay here again.

Tonight, our family chose this restaurant ( Columbia, TN. location), for a Very special, celebratory dinner together.â¤ď¸. We were absolutely NOT Disappointed in ANY way! The food was great, the Bartender was excellent, and our Waitress was more than exceptional! ( So sorry we didn't even get her name!) Thank you for being, in our opinion... The Best that Columbia has to offerâŁď¸
