This hotel Ext./stay property on Corliss street, in Providence RI, is a complete embarrassment. How any one can work in a place like this, and welcome people in like it's the Ritz Carlton is beyond comprehension. The hostess appeared to live at the property, at least comfortable enough to come to work in PJ's and slippers. The common area and carpets were so FILTHY, I promise you, you would not walk on these carpets without shoes. I was actually uncomfortable even walking down the hallway. All of the common areas smelled like marijuana, which appeared to be the standard air-freshener for the building. Dogs everywhere!, don't get me wrong, I love dogs, but I don't believe they advertise this establishment as a kennel. The other patrons that I encountered, in general appeared to be living on the edge of homelessness, and appeared to call his extended stay property home. The hostess new everyone by their first name, so it appeared to be one big happy family. The experience gave me the feeling I was in a city project housing establishment, as opposed to a welcoming business traveler accommodation. They all seemed to have live there a very long time. While in the elevator with the properties hostess , there was a strung out drug attic talking to himself out loud, trying to repeat a series of number, trying to remember his room number. Now the rooms, broken bathroom faucets, broken sink drain, broken toilet seat, COCKROACHES under the kitchen sink, need I say more? I was forced to sleep in my clothes, on top of the bed spread, with the lights on all night, because cockroaches like to run around when the lights are out. It was late when I got there, after traveling for the past 12 hours, had to stay. I was booked for two nights. "NOT" NO WAY!, dumped my key on the desk and RAN out of the place at 6:00am. Leaving early and Paying for an extra night, seemed like a blessing. Expedia and Extended stay America should be embarrassed and ashamed offering such a disgusting "LACK of" accommodation to people. Run Away FAST..........Do not stay here!

We spent one night here on a quick trip to visit family in Providence. The bed was comfy and the heat/ventilation system worked great (important on a cold winter weekend!). There was some hair on the vanity in the bathroom, but the rest of the unit seemed clean. We were provided with only one bath towel. There was no number provided to call the desk, so I went down to request another towel. It never arrived so we just had to share the one and use the hand towels. My biggest issue is that even though ESA touts their studios with a kitchen, there are no dishes or anything else provided! They have to be requested, something not mentioned in their elaborate online promotion of the units. No flatware, cups, plates, nothing. We drank out of our water bottles all weekend! I requested a coffeemaker Saturday afternoon which also never arrived. It's a shame that ESA is so obviously skimping on basics that any traveler would expect at a hotel. They have a good business model and they're an economical option. I willl hesitate to stay at one again knowing that they over-promise and under-deliver on hospitality. It wouldn't cost them that much to correct the deficiencies, and possibly get more repeat business.

The hallways smelled like urine, the room smelled like stale cigarettes, the room was shabby at best with scuffed up furniture and walls with no remote control for the television or even a way to physically turn it on. Not to mention the pubic hair on the bathroom counter. When we went to the front desk at 9:40 pm to ask for a remote control, the front desk clerk didnât have one and then delivered one to our room at 10:50 pm when we were already asleep.

This "hotel" is HORRIBLE!! Had I not already paid online for the room, we would have gone elsewhere. Police (we ran into them in the parking lot) literally told us that they patrol the parking lot on a regular basis if that tells you anything. The room looked like a really bad dorm room. Walls were scuffed up, cabinets were scratched, chairs looked like they had been destroyed by an animal. Don't plan on getting any sleep here - other people (looks like they live there) are talking/yelling/playing music LOUDLY until 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning. They also charge you an extra $100 when you check in - if that tells you what their regular clientele is like. The woman that checked us in asked us if we knew about that.....I said no - how could we? It's not posted on your website! It's supposed to be refundable, so we'll see if that actually happens. DO NOT be temped by the price - it's not worth it. The only way they could improve this place is to shut it down.

This is close to the Providence airport. Room has a full kitchen. All worked fine in the room. I asked for a wake up call for 430am, NEVER go it. Great for the clock alarm!. If you go right to the light and then left a gas station is there. To go to the airport, go left to stop sign then right and follow that road to the airport.
