The staff of this hotel is extremely arrogant. Something we have never experience anywhere let alone a Marriott property. Our toilet and sink were clogged from the time we checked in. When called and asked for help they made it sound like this was no big deal. Even after being asked for housekeeping our room was not cleaned. When we shared feedback they were extremely arrogant and sounded like they did not understand why we were upset. They lied that we have to get ourselves on the list for housekeeping when this information not shared upon check in. Different people on the front desk had different stories. One said we had the do not disturb on the door. Thank fully I had a pic of that on my phone to show that was not the case as this was not first When we found them lying in our 3 day stay. After how bad our experience is they should really refund our money for the kind of nightly rate we paid for this terrible place Bottom line terrible hotel and do not stay here at all

Had do not disturb sign on my door after working overnight and some maintenance guy knocks on my door with a fridge!! I told him to go away and he stands there! I went to reception to complain but they could not have cared less. As a titanium member I even wrote to customer service, yet a week later, have not heard a thing!! Hotel rooms are in need of updating. As a constant business traveler not worth the money. I would not recommend this hotel at all!

We stayed here for the second time and it was as good as the last time. The location was perfect as we had an event at the Newportbank City Center Rink. This hotel right across the street. The rooms were clean and spacious and the staff were very helpful. We would stay here again in the future.

Well, first of all, the rooms are very noisy with poor insulation from outside noises. Secondly, when I arrived and said "Good afternoon; I have a reservation," the response was "Let me see what we have available." I would have preferred "Good afternoon. Thank you for being a Gold customer. Let me see how we can assist you." I don't expect to be upgraded to a suite, but I definitely didn't enjoy being on the noisy half of the hotel, and on the 2nd lowest floor (in other words, one of the worst rooms in the hotel). This being 2024, I would have appreciated either two free electrical sockets on the side of the bed so that I could plug in both my CPAP and iPhone, or at least one electrical socket and one USB outlet. Another time I was at the front desk, and the clerk was literally playing on her phone. When I scratched my throat, there was no "Oh, sorry," but rather a "Yeah?". At least I can compliment the restaurant staff and housekeeping. When it comes to the front desk, though, I definitely didn't feel valued as a loyal customer.

Stayed here one night before going to the Providence Airport the next day. We were given a room on the 7th (top) floor as requested which was advantageous since we could still hear traffic at times overnight. This hotel is older and could use a renovation to update bathrooms, wall coverings, windows and electrical. Electrical outlets were few and an outlet on one side of the bed did not function. However, the room was clean and generally comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was a bit chaotic as it was Saturday on Labor Day weekend, and the cook didn't come in, but the ladies did an outstanding job despite the significant workload!
