Sea Breeze Inn

It’s literally a dump. They have multiple abandoned cars, boats, trailers, RVs, etc… sitting in their parking lot. They treat their yard as though it were a junkyard. Vagrants have been reported picking through the refuse. It’s unsafe. Weeds everywhere. I can’t imagine why anyone would want to stay here.

We were greeted by a wonderful and gracious lady named Raisa. She was so kind it made me miss my Grandma. While the room wasn’t fancy, it was clean with a comfortable mattress and a comfortable feeling. It was the end of the season and Raisa was closing until April or May that didn’t stop her from being kind and knowledgeable about the area; telling us what to see, getting out maps and so on. If you’re into state of the art stuff, I don’t recommend this. But if you want a sweet place to lay your head look no further.

I agree with some of the reviews-- yeah, it's quaint & old, and you're crashing at grandma's place, as far as the decor goes. But she is really accommodating and a "straight-to-the-point" personality. Everything needs updated, but at least you'll know what you're in for after reading our reviews. It's affordable, but an uber ride to Hyannis main street for us. It was clean, I had no issues with our room that way, but I do like a nicer, more updated place. That's just me. I didn't regret staying here, would probably pick a nicer place next time. Breakfast was fine- fruit, cereal, muffins. Enough to get you moving.

This place is dirty, moldy, smelly, cramped and old. It needs more than renovations. It needs a thorough cleaning. The mixed matched wallpaper was falling off the walls. There was mold everywhere, on the walls, blinds and bathroom. I was afraid to touch anything. There was no room to place your items. It was an awkward layout for the room. The lighting was so dim (probably to hide the dirt). I cannot tell you how disgusting it was. The so called continental breakfast was bagels, banana and cold cereal, the same each day. This was definitely not as advertised. The pictures must have been taken many, many years ago. BUYER BEWARE!

After reading the write ups of this property I was afraid to show up. I was pleasantly surprised that the quaint hotel was nicer than expected. Yes, there are issues. It was damp and hot in the lobby. My room though, had a decent TV and air conditioning which was critical for my stay. The hostess was helpful and pleasant. The facility was clean. I saw no insects or any dirt. Yes, some things need to be fixed and updated. But it was certainly fine for my visit to the Cape.
